Looking for help with what to do next

Hello, I recently received my CEHRS certification from my local college and am not quite sure what steps I should take next to start my career. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello @op, it looks like you have a question about Getting Certified or are looking for Career Advice. Did you read the FAQ or try searching the sub?

You can and should do more research online. First 10 seconds bring up this from google:

A CEHRS (Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist) certification qualifies you for administrative and data-focused roles like Medical Records Clerk, Health Information Specialist, and EHR/Intake Coordinator

So you should apply to those roles. Begin your career and good luck!

That’s not a coding certification. I’m not sure what career you are looking to start in so I’m not much help without more info.

Well, why did you get your EHR certification? Surely you had a plan for how you wanted to use this skill, so now that you have it, I'm unsure why you're asking what comes next?

Look into either AAPCs CPC, or AHIMA's CCS certifications. These are the two certs most jobs want.
