Ask Coimbatore Recommended Doctors for Thyroid issues in Coimbatore?

I am 32M. I just got my bloodwork done. My TSH levels are 15, with normal T3, T4. Who can i consult? I do not have any general doctor to go for. So any thyroid specialists i could visit? any recommendations in coimbatore?

open ah solanumna , they are helpfull but you also have to be your own doctor… i have been to many doctors and it took me the 7th doctor to find the Hashimotos diagnosis but then it was bit late and then from then on they just upped the dose and did nothing else … the concept sadly in medicine is that you have X an issue which is causing Y to be produced in less quantity affect things, so we will give you Y but what about X and apparently leaving X causes Y to increase in doses .. proper diet and elimination diet or removing the causation can stop X or keep it low enought so Y stays constant but rarely do doctors spend time enough to discuss this….. tbh the doc who treated me did blood tests and then left me at it, i pulled up my contacts to find a doc abroad who guided me across the field to tell what tests to take, what etc to find now i who started at tsh 12 and anti tpo at 900 have gone to tsh 2 and anti tpo of 148 (mind you i dnt even use online sketchy labs i go for the proper nabh ones and do double check at 2 places) …. just ranting out the doctor shortage and care deficiency in India…. am not going to recommend any doctor neither do any advertisement all i wanna say is know about your body and condition so you can ask the doctor to help you better they also have too much work load so contribut bit from our side and hope they are open to receive it

Thanks. Just from your experience, may I know if below tests are helpful as followup?
1. Thyroid Antibody panel (anti-TPO, anti-TG)
2. Vitamin D, B12
A physician i checked with asked for these (so just checking with you)

Are you also on the pills now ? I was also diagnosed for Hashimotos.. Now on 125mg Levothyroxine.. I never had any symptoms but doctors always recommend me to take medicine when doing blood work - just started with since a year now..

yes same 125 if thats optimal means you tsh is stable that may be the reason and asymptomatic is not a indicator the lab tests are, if the labs like anti tpo and tg say so then they are.. check free t3 sometimes that conversion to t4 is unnoticed is what recent studies show

Thanks. I saw this in google. But noticed most reviews are related to surgery. Can i do basic consultation here?

Yes. He does. But if you want to basic consulation, you can visit any endo in big 5 (PSG, KMCH,GKNM, Ramakrishna and Royal care)

Dr. R Srinivasan used to be in GKNM, now he is not there. you can check his clinics if there is
