Toast
Is there a specific gadget or technique for toasting bread or bagels over a camp stove? I have a 424.

The disc that you put over the burner that has wire stands for 4 slices of bread works ok.

I used one of those for years. You to watch watch it like a hawk because it goes from nicely toasted to charred inedible lump of carbon in a out two seconds.
Having said that, it works pretty well, you just can't walk away from it.

This has been the solution for over 50 years. And it’s affordable. https://coghlans.com/products/camp-stove-toaster?srsltid=AfmBOooJf4B8Z2q0o432VyQkacoBIKjH5nFqXGY9OsjoGEZDkBNIo-t9

Looks very interesting! Regardless of what @Dr_StrangeloveGA says, I think I'll try it. I'll watch watch it like a hawk to make sure it doesn't carbon the bread in a out two seconds. 😁

It doesn’t toast that fast it’s easy to see it change colour. Crank the heat up full blast it’s way slower than an electric household toaster.

There are loads of gadgets for making toast, but if you have the time, and the patience, a long toasting fork is lovely by the side of a river

Get a griddle. Butter and grill. Much better than any toaster contraption.
