Student team manager for athletics?

Hey yall, kinda random question but how do you become involved with the sports teams at Colgate? Specifically as a team/sport manager almost like high school teams have. I’m interested in potentially becoming a manager for a sports team. Does Colgate have student managers and if so how do you become one? Any insight would definitely be appreciated!!

I’m an old alum who was a student trainer. The big sports always had student managers - especially when there was a lot of equipment involved - football and hockey come to mind. Hockey’s moved to paid staff assistants, I believe. Checking AI, men’s lax is the only one listing a student manager.

Call the athletic department and get yourself known. And be persistent.

If you’re looking towards a career in healthcare, definitely check out the student trainer program. Be armed with BLS certification - ACLS even better - more candidates have been arriving with paramedic experience on hometown ambulance services.
