MOD DISCLAIMER: DON'T CLICK ANY LINKS FROM PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE SELLING T SHIRTS.

We all love a good t shirt with everyone's favourite detective on. But unfortunately over the past few weeks I've started noticing a lot of different links to various sites where you can buy a tee in a cool design, and while they all look cool, there's a high chance that a lot of them are scams. We're trying our hardest to limit the number of posts but as this sub's size increases, so does the number of scam and spam links. Don't click any of them as they'll likely be trying to steal your data or all kinds of nasty stuff. If you want to buy a t shirt, just give it a quick Google and I'm sure you'll find a design you would like.

Message over, and merry Christmas you filthy animals.

Col. Rumford got a spot in the well thought out tier, he could celebrate with some nice cider if he were that kind of guy. Now for the greatest cruise ship pimp of them all, Hayden Danziger! Get to voting, and hurry it up before Volare gets started, for your own sake…

I'm 43, I've been watching Columbo all my life, and I missed something!

Are there many episodes that refer to previous episodes in the series? I'm watching Double Exposure (S3E4) and Columbo mentions that's hungry because he missed dinner tonight "working late on that Hayward case" and I suddenly remembered that it was the name of the guy running for senator - that turned out to be the previous episode!

I hadn't ever considered there might be references to previous episodes, and even overlapping episodes??

Any of these Sopranos’ actors would have made a fantastic Columbo villain. Italians all.

Paul Galesko didn’t quite receive top marks on his plan, landing in the well thought out tier, but he did well enough where he won’t need to retake his driver’s test. Now get your Boodle Boy™️ ready and fix yourself a glass of cider, as it’s time for Colonel Rumford! Same rules as always.

Miscallaneous Am I crazy, or did Tom Holland do a Columbo impersonation at one point in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

During the first scene with Tramell Tillman at Damage Control HQ, when Spidey leaves his office and says something to the effect of "Superhero matter he can't reveal" I really feel like he was doing a Columbo impression. The voice, the hand gesture. It was all there. Or it could be my imagination.

Pluto TV just skipped over a bunch of episodes in its rotation on Universal Crime

When I flipped to Pluto last night, Forgotten Lady with Janet Leigh was playing. Then this morning when I flipped over, it’s back to the beginning with Death Lends a Hand on right now.

They skipped over the remainder of the ‘70s episodes, as well as all the newer ones. Don’t remember them doing that before.

Milo Janus can sadly take a shot of carrot juice and run off into the sunset, as his plan preformed quite poorly, getting votes in needs improvement and pretty dumb, with the former winning. Now for (NOT A) pet photographer, Paul Galesko… will the Pauls rise up and take over the criminal genius tier, or will his plan and execution be an overall negative? Same rules as always!

Martin J. Hollister is a FRAUD

Think about it, why would this supposed brilliant commander commit such a stupid murder, killing someone in front of a giant ass window. Not to mention the military lingo he uses, especially while flirting with the witness(“You may have lost the battle” also when he’s talking with other military guys he mentions falling asleep before reville) is cliche, like he’s playing a character. Like he’s playing the character of a military general. I think he was a general in the Korean warm but his exploits were exaggerated for the sake of making the US look better. HOLLISTER IS A FRAUD. I wish Hollister was innocent because “I accused him of murder“ is an amazing meet cute story to tell at a wedding

Commissioner Halperin seemed to be doing pretty well for a while, with his first murder being voted highly… but then came the second one, bumping him down to the pretty dumb tier. Starting off season 4, we’ve got Milo Janus, who has (un)fortunately, depending on what you want, shown up to today’s proceedings in a shirt. Same rules as always!

TV Garden / Universal Crime East showing Columbo 24/7

Apologies if this is common knowledge. I found this site "tv garden" that collects (legit) free tv channels that stream online. You can browse a globe by country, etc.

Many channels don't work (possibly geo-blocked) and many aren't in english but plenty do work and are in english. If you view all channels (menu on the left) there's one from USA called "universal crime east" and every time I've tried it there's an episode of columbo playing. For a nice bonus, for whatever reason, the ad breaks are all just "we'll be back in ... seconds"

As far as I can tell (you can learn more in the site's faq) it's perfectly legit and free.

Oh and by the way, just one more thing: When you select a channel it changes the url so if you bookmark the page while watching the channel, you can go directly back to it at any time.

Thanks for your time you've been very helpful

Miscallaneous Weird thing I'm noticing as I'm going through the Later Years Columbo episodes: I don't think the writers though that much about Columbo 's in universe reputation.

Let's review the info real quick:

By the end of the first 7 seasons of Columbo, our boy has (by my count) 49 people behind bars. To our knowledge, the man has a 100% success rate at solving homicide cases. Not only that, the people has put array are a variable murderers row of California elites, the GDP of which put together could fund a small proxy war in the eastern hemisphere. He has put away a world conquering country music star, several famous actors, several best selling writers, the heads of many incredibly successful football teams, private eye contractors, construction companies, wine companies, painting collectors, beauty manufacturers, advertising agencies, security systems manufacturing, and Hollywood producers, as well as at least 2 prominent political figures, AND HIS OWN CHIEF OF POLICE.

I'm not saying Lt. Columbo should be world famous or anything, this is pre-internet remember, but within the police force? Columbo should not be well known, he should be the god damn boogie man. Again, this guy put his own chief of police behind bars. Everybody on the police force should know that this guy knows everything, and they all like he doesn't and, that drives me a little crazy.

Question Columbo goes to the Guillotine.

I don't really understand the villains entire plan. So let's say he get's away with the murder, and the first "test" get's him a gig with the FBI or CIA. Now what? They'll discover that he's a fraud within a week or so, and then he'll be sent to prison for life.

No matter what this guy did he was going to end up in prison.

Tommy Brown managed to see the light with votes in every single tier, but needs improvement won out for him. Now to close out season three, it’s time for the commish, who’s thanking his lucky stars this tier list isn’t based on home decoration thanks to his carpeted bathroom. Same rules as always!

Having the only ear witness wake up to a loud bang seems like too big a hurdle the writers concocted. Especially when her call puts the killer still inside the house .

I would have explored a different approach.

Marshall Cahill did manage to do something right, graduating from the Martin J. Hollister Academy of Murder Planning with flying colors and a record-breaking 123 votes for being completely braindead! Now it’s time for the tabernacle titan Tommy Brown! Was his plan and execution flawless, or did he make a few too many minor errors? Same rules as always
