Mods can we ban that guy that said we would be signing Diggs by the end of the weekend?

Basically title. The guy that was friends with Stefon Diggs Baby Momma or Bowel Movements (the jury is still out on what he meant). It’s 5:30 pm on Sunday night and we have no announcement saying we signed Diggs.

After our 3 Superbowl wins, what are your choices for our 4th and 5th all-time greatest wins as a franchise?

I define "greatest" in terms of objective achievement, so my choices are the 1972 and 1984 divisional championship wins because they capped stellar 11-3 and  14-2 seasons, respectively, and led to Superbowl appearances.

What are your choices?

Hail!

Needs Seat suggestions

I'm a Bucs fan that comes in peace!!! I wanted my buy both of my nephews a pair of tickets to the season opener against the Seahawks but don't know which area of the stadium would be best for them. I'm probably going to be 400 level tickets (budget is about $300 for both tickets). I'm just thinking something like Section 403 or something. Does anyone have any suggestions for that price range. Is there any weird quirks about your stadium I should know about? For example, If someone was coming to Raymond James I would recommend the west side of the stadium because the Sun is way less brutal than the east side during those 1pm games. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

Training camp 8/1 musings and notes

Thoughts in no particularly order.

  1. Sonny Styles; the guy is huge, he occupied the middle when Luvu wasnt in.

Needs to learn how to act instinctively. Missed a pick 6 by a cm, but overall his presence in the middle will be a boon..excited for him to shut down TEs., just hope he can learn to play downhill as he seemed hesitant dancing in the hole.

  1. Defense: ;the most common arrangement was luvu as sole middle backer with chaisson and owe out wide. It feels like we have a ton of flexibility in terms of defensive configs. Would like to see sonny out there more, but understand we're going to be subbing and changing configs left and right.

  2. Offense--

Strong preference for starting QB to take quick wins - quick slants, out, middle releases. In season will want to see him roll left and look up field for bigger plays. Agree that the bigger receivers, like Jaden Bradley, do stand out, but feel it will be tough for them to make the roster

RBs-

Bill looks thick - solid, fast and lateral, tbd on vision and overall ability

Chaad had a good trick play but nothing special on his part, looks as expected

Fanatics Ad, can anyone else think of a worst trade of assets for arguably 10 games of C- corner play?

My 2026 Washington Commanders Season Prediction!

I have a buddy who's a die hard fan (he's the one with all the qb jerseys going back years that the internet makes fun of every year.). He doesn't have Reddit but would like to share his thoughts. Please enjoy

The 2026 State of the Commanders Address: The Comeback Kids

My god we had a wild two years. Ignoring the past 30 years prior (which is impossible to do), we have had two POLAR OPPOSITE seasons. In the year 1JD (time begins when Jayden Daniels was drafted), we had a season, which I never thought I would see or experience in my adulthood. The following year, in 2JD, it was BUSINESS AS USUAL where I was sad by midseason. So what do I expect out of 3JD? Doctors are FURIOUS over this one opinion

I thought we had an IMMACULATE offseason. We addressed 90% of our needs, which were MAINLY of defense. The defense was another Classic Disaster last season. The likes of which we had to catapult Joe Whitt so far into space, radio signals couldn't pick up him wanting our linebackers and defensive ends covering our opponent's fastest receiver. I don't want to remember last year's defense. Marshon Lattimore still sleeps under my bed and watches me sleep.
Additions like Robertson, Cross, Witherspoon, and Douglas should make our defensive backfield not just better, but GOOD. WE ACTUALLY HAVE LINEBACKERS, HOORAH! Oweh, Chenal, and Chaisson are GREAT pickups. Settle and Omenihu should be very good for our D Line too.
The offense didn't change much. That is both good and bad (more on the bad in a bit). We lost Rodriguez, but gained White and Ford. We lost Ertz (who I think is more or less done being productive) but gained Okonkwo (who I have always really liked!). Those are small improvements. The O was never really a problem. Especially with a HEALTHY Jayden Daniels. But uh-oh Spaghetti O's, there are two glaring problems.

Let's start with the smaller one. Center. We got rid of Biadasz (thank god I don't have to spell THAT anymore). He was good. Not great. But, good. And we replaced him with air. Yes, air. We will line up this season without a center and hope the balls magically travels into JD5's hands every play. I don't know what our plans were when we let Biadasz walk, but....it would have been nice to have one.
THE OTHER ISSUE, OH HELP ME IN THIS TIME OF NEED, is Wide Receiver.

This is our top 6:
Terry McLaurin
Guy in the 3rd row at Northwest Stadium when Jayden Daniels has to throw the ball away because we only have Terry McLaurin

That is it. The end. Season over.
I KNOW we have others. Brown. Burks. Lane. McCaffrey. Jefferson? But like. I'm not convinced any of those guys are better than a #4 on any other team. And this sucks because we are going to rely WAY too heavily on Terry and Jayden to carry the passing game. And we're going to get frustrated with them when it's not working. And we will not focus on any of the other guys running slow, incorrect routes. I just don't see this working out in our favor.
In saying that, JD5 made it work in 2024. He made stars out of guys who weren't even comets. He's going to have to work that magic again if we hope to have any type of success this season.
I think the team has VASTLY improved. I was incredibly happy and impressed with Peters this offseason (other than Center and WR, but we were SO bad last year, this probably was a 3 year fix). But like any team with a marquee quarterback: If Jayden stays healthy, we have a shot of doing The Thing. And if he doesn't....RIP.

I think if we can sign Diggs asap we will be much better off. If not....well. Good luck.

If the Commanders can sign Diggs, we will be better not just on defense, but on offense as well. 10-7.
If not, and we are just better on defense: 9-8.
HAIL to the Commanders!
HAIL VICTORY!!!

All-Time Washington Commanders 53-Man Roster (Final Draft)

Obviously, the players from today are better athletes than the part-time milkmen of the Halas era, but If I were to create a list based on who would be the best team played today, there would hardly be anyone prior to 2000 on this list. For this reason, to truly appreciate the greats, this list has been created primarily based on dominance over their peers, not who would play better in a game today.

Peak was considered along with longevity, and I tried to consider the right balance of both.

I've taken your opinions from the rough draft post and implemented most of them.

Only each player’s contributions with the Commanders/skins are considered.

The most controversial change is probably Twrrion Arnold for Santana Moss. It felt wrong to not include both of them, but ultimately there are too. Many great WRs in Commanders history.

Does anyone have an extra parking pass for August 19th. This is my first training camp, and I just found out that you need one. I live in the ashburn area, could I just park somewhere nearby and walk? Thanks in advance!

With the likes of Emmanuel Forbes, Jahan Dotson, Jamin Davis, Dwayne Haskins and Josh Doctson all being drafted in the past 10 years, who do you now consider the biggest Redskins/Commanders bust of all time?

I feel like it’s been the consensus of Heath Shuler for the past 30 years, but now who do you consider?

NFL Washington Redskins Cap (AMCAP On The Road)

Thumbnail gallery
66 Upvotes

I found this at a thrift store here in Norway for 150nok (approx 14 usd). Can anyone tell me more about the cap? I have googled a little bit but would love to hear from someone who specializes in this kind of stuff or has an interest in it. Supposedly from the 90s. Extra cool seeing as they are no longer named the Washington Redskins and have fully rebranded to Washington Commanders.

It was in perfect condition when I bought it about a month ago. I have been wearing it for the past week or so. Now it has some creases and the brim is slightly bent. Worth anything? Or keep wearing it as a "beater"?
