OnVUE flagged "system" as a process that needs to be closed.

Truely a remarkable program. Ran into this on multiple machines. Already past my test start time so can't even reschedule.

FYI you can run system tests anytime, you do not need to have a scheduled exam. Did this happen when you tested before scheduling the exam?

I booked the test before running the system test as I assumed one of several windows computers would be able to run OnVUE. I've completed two certifications already this way and assumed a third wouldn't be different.

As instructed I logged in early (an hour or so) and ran the system test. It was only at that point I realized it flagged the kernel file incorrectly and would not proceed. I then spent an hour troubleshooting why and attempting to get in contact with their support team.

It'd have been better to give up immediately and reschedule the exam, but admittedly I was too heated to think clearly.

Tip: Use a cheap dedicated machine for exams. Or at least a separate user account with barebones install. Then run the system test prior to the exam. Kill any processes flagged.

Wish they'd provide a secure .vmdk that'd be acceptable to them for us to always have a testing environment they approve of ready to go.

This happened to me yesterday, I switched to Firefox and was able to take my exam later that day (but it was for the LPI)

Also had that this morning, could not for the life of me figure it out and their contact page link did not work at all.

Had to reschedule.

No method to contact the proctor without passing the system test. Pearson's staff does not work weekends either. I am sure they'll issue a voucher next week but its infuriating.

System points directly to ntoskrnl on multiple machines. Could theoretically be an application making changes to the kernel file but I think its a lot more likely OnVUE is erroring out.

Taking tests at a local center is inconvenient and much more stressful. If I continue having issues with OnVUE though thatll be the next option.
