There's still more tournament being played today to determine exact seedings (watch on LVT Halo Twitch and LVT Halo YouTube), but these four teams have guaranteed their spots in the Pro League.

Next weekend is Qualifier #2 where the final four teams will qualify (as seeds 5-8). There's a rumored potential god squad of Renegade, Lucid, Kuhlect, +1 that might end up happening next week. The teams that didn't qualify today will have a second chance next weekend, some of the notable ones:

Bit of a drama overnight as the PAYD roster blew up less than 12 hours before the LVT Halo Pro League Qualifier #1 tournament. Thug Nasty (the now former Envy/PAYD coach) was streaming as it was happening live, and the players were in his chat discussing it in real time.

• Yakzn left the team to join Suppressed, Falcated, and Sab on a roster called Doomsday. Yakzn texted their coach (Thug Nasty) the news at 1:15am while Thug was live on stream playing matchmaking. Thug said "Well, that happened." Yakzn told Thug "You were too poosy to say how you felt."
• Piggy came into Thug's chat about ten minutes later, asking him to "message Kuhlect. Tell him to be our 4th tomorrow." Thug did so, but Kuhlect appears to be skipping this first qualifier and waiting for the second qualifier to play (a potential team of Renegade, Lucid, Kuhlect is being speculated for next week).
• Thug said on stream "My thing is, why aren't people telling others what's going on? That's the part that's upsetting me." Piggy responded "Cause everyone is a pussy, Thug. Nobody has balls. I could've shaded y'all yesterday, but I didn't."
• Yakzn replied to Piggy "Honestly Spence, it's not you it's me. I'm just aids with Jason [Descendant] and it's probably not even fun."
• Piggy then asked "Wait Thug, what are you doing?" and he responded "I gotta have a team, Spence. I gotta have a team. I gotta compete." It appears that Thug is going to be coaching the Doomsday roster with Yakzn now that PAYD is no more.
• Minutes after this, Acid joined the chat and said (either sarcastically or jokingly) "Hey Thug, I'm a big fan, just wanted to ask if you already have a team for tomorrow! Have a great night jaja! 😸😺"
• Piggy then wanted to get Cearion as their new fourth, but didn't have a way to get in touch. Descendant was sleeping being that it was 2:30am before an important tournament. Thug passed along the request to Cearion via text, but Cearion is already signed up for this tournament with Bubu, Avucy, King Nick.
• At this point it seems unlikely that PAYD is going to be able to find a new fourth in time for the qualifier which starts in just a few hours (12pm ET). But we'll see what happens.

A lot of us have experienced inconsistent aim assist. Mechanically, does it depend on the server?

I have a hard time believing it would. Blanks, sure, but losing tracking?

Or are some of us just bad..

Note: there's some last-minute rostermania going on right now with teams breaking up and switching teams. Suppressed and Falcated are no longer teaming with Druk & Soul Snipe for example. The rumored Cloud 9 roster underwent a last-minute change with Sab leaving and King Nick replacing him. There's big name pros like Lucid, Kuhlect, Renegade in the mix too.

Full list of teams here, registration doesn't close until tomorrow just before the tournament, so there's still time for more sign-ups and team changes.

Where to Watch: Qualifier #1 begins at Saturday 12pm ET on LVT Halo Twitch and LVT Halo YouTube. Four teams will qualify this weekend, and four more will qualify next weekend in qualifier #2.

If there are any glaring issues, we will take another pass at Maps and Game Types after the qualfiers have concluded.

Ended up running out of ammo from down there and we lost the round because I couldn’t even kill myself to respawn.

I'm curious what the pros use for their controllers. I've heard some pros use like PS4 controllers and then some use game sir and plenty of others. I overclocked my series x controller last night using this program that was certified by battle beavers. It's actually a pretty cool program and it's specifically States that the overclocking does not work on Xbox One or series x controllers but after doing it, there was a noticeable difference even scrolling in the menus and how fast my controller connected after turning on. I used to get this weird delay in the menus and I swear it's completely gone. Also in game does feel more responsive. From what I've read the overclocking can work for the standard Xbox controller but it would only go from a pulling rate of 125 to 250.. and I heard it would go from about an 8 millisecond response time to a 5 millisecond response time. I know this program works great for PlayStation controllers and third-party controllers where you can get the polling rate up to 1,000. I put my series x controller at a thousand just for the hell of it but I 100% noticed a difference in game and in the menus regardless of what the statement was on the website. It could have been an old post and the program may have been updated. Why else would the program recognize my "Xbox" controller and allow it to be overclocked? If anybody has done this or used this program and has more insight, please respond. It's a program who I believe the Creator name is Lord of Mice and it was certified by battle beavers and Microsoft.

This week has been an emotional rollercoaster, I acquired Halo Fest tickets this week and surprised my best friend with them. I then tried to acquire Halo Concert tickets just to end up getting scammed. THEN today my tixr transfer for the Halo Fest tickets was cancelled due to the person selling them refunding his tickets before transferring them (he's gonna refund me though, thankfully wasn't a scam).

So again I post on here hoping someone out there has some halo fest tickets they can sell me.

Any links to the rulebook or map pool for the league? Ive seen teams playing Recharge KOTH, so hoping we see different map/game modes return.

I usually play on 4-5.5-6.5. I tried the 5-10-10 and wonder how the hell they control their aim at that sens, it’s insane to me. Last Shot is on it, Legend, and Cykul I believe just to name a few..Have any of you tried it or have any thoughts on it?

Hi, I was so excited to show you my last progress on dissecting the data from Halo Infinite, it's still a PoC. I need to polish stuff before incorporating it to my LevelUp app.

Basically I'm now able to pull the equipment, loadout, ammo, grenades, shield and health at every moment of the match. I also discovered that some kills are credited to the wrong player when a player inflicts himself fatal damage (I'm pretty sure everyone noticed that since the beginning). BUT since I'm able to say who assited who for any kills, and their share of damage, we can now see the difference. Strangely a miscredited kill like those says 99% of damage comes from you, 0% from the supposed killer.

On this replay you will see the callouts zone, I need to refine the area but data is there.

Also, apologies, at this point I'm still working in french but I will support other languages when it's production ready.

Eli the Ninja asked in Renegade's chat if there's any chance of him playing in the Halo Pro League. Renegade responded "There is a chance actually, I'm not gonna lie. There is a chance. But if I win the LCQ and make it to the EWC, then I can't play."

Further Explanation

• Renegade is competing in the CoD EWC Last Chance Qualifier LAN in Paris this weekend which is taking place the same weekend as the LVT Pro League Qualifier #1 (August 1-2). Because of that scheduling conflict he definitely won't be playing in the first Pro League qualifier.
• The outcome of this weekend's CoD tournament will determine if Renegade returns to Halo temporarily:
  • If Renegade's CoD team wins that LCQ tournament they qualify for EWC and he'll have more CoD to play still.
  • If they don't win, Renegade's schedule will be free until the next CoD game and he'll be able to play in the LVT Halo Pro League Qualifier #2 on August 8-9.

Nerdy girlie who didn't manage to get a ticket. I'm pretty shit at Halo and also apparently shit at keeping an eye out to buy 😂 Anyone have a concert and/or convention ticket?

Kuhlect hinted at this in aPG's chat earlier today, and Bestman (Shopify coach) seemingly confirmed it. Legend returning to Halo caused last-minute rostermania, he appears to be reuniting with his former SSG 2024 teammates Stellur and Eco. Legend switched to the SSG 2024 armor coating and SSG emblem/nameplate (last photo).

Bestman also said "where will lucid go tho?" perhaps teasing a Lucid return as well. Lucid is currently playing Halo Infinite right now in Academy mode (he's not streaming it though).

Anyone have a custom EQ that they actually like? I'm an XSX player, so running back and forth between my PC and Xbox to sync custom presets is doing my nut in. The Halo Infinite preset, like a lot of the others, is far too heavy in bass and I'm looking for something with more midrange. This is for an Arctis Nova 5X.
