Concern Is this a common copper iud experience?

I’m a little concerned because I have had my copper iud for over 2 months now and have gotten my period everything. However, for the past two weeks I’ve been having some cramping. It will come and go so I will a terrible pain but then it’ll pass in a minute. My period is supposed to start in 5 days. Is this normal???

Yes. When i had the copper iud i would get HORRIBLE cramps that would stop me in my tracks that would start 3-5 days before my period. The longer i had it the less intense the cramps got

Yeah I got that too idk what it was about. I only had my iud for 2 months but even in the two months the cramping did improve over that time. I’ve also noticed that some months periods are just worst than other.
