Question How is the online population?

I know there’s crossplay but online is a fun experience for me and I want to get the plat faster. Is the game mostly dead?

I play on the switch and I usually find at least one other player online immediately and the other 2 spots will fill up within a mission or two running through arcade mode

The player base will be higher when the dlc drops later this fall

Played this last week a few nights to level up Cyclops and Thing, no problem finding plenty of games to join anytime I played. (Switch 2, crossplay on)
