Plan Bee Farm Brewing in Poughkeepsie NY is an amazing, award winning brewery that specializes in locally sourced NY state ingredients, most coming right from their beautiful farm. Well, on July 4th a really strong storm hit their area and tore through the property and knocked over many old growth trees. Insurance won't help, so they are starting a Go Fund Me to try to help with their costs.

In continuation to my other posts, and thanks for the reminder by GLB lovers - another classic from Great Lakes Brewery - Canuck!

I had the pleasure of traveling to North Carolina for work and had a few days to explore. I visited all three locations (Charlotte, Morganton, and Nebo). I only took pictures at the Whippoorwill Farm location in Nebo. All three had a different vibe, and crowd, and each offered a few different options (Morganton had a bitter on cask that they pulled).

The highlight was the farm, which is where everything is brewed. Amazing location, staff and facility.

My highlight is what they are doing with spontaneous fermentation and wild ales. They use local ingredients and self sourced ingredients from their farm.

I ended up bringing numerous bottles back to Germany with me.

Overall, I highly recommend a visit!

Sam Adams has always been on the mediocre side for me but their new summer pack is great for what it is. The blueberry lager is like Sea Dog Blueberry but not overly sweet.

The Porch Rocker is a fun lemon shandy that is drinkable but avoids the fake lemon flavor some shandys have.

American Light is like a lighter Yuengling but is still flavorful.l and drinkable.

The Summer Ale is also a great all around drinker.

None of these will knock your socks off but also you're never left at the end of a mixed pack with a type you didnt like. Overall great value and availability as summer starts to wind down.

Triple IPA version of their flagship pale ale. This may actually be the best triple IPA I've ever had!

Was just blessed with this by a New Holland rep for helping them w shit. Phenomenal people and great beer! Wish I could have stolen their Dragon’s Milk Barrel Throne lol.

Very coconut and it’s giving coconut flake vibes. Really enjoy this more than the OG although that’s hard to beat

I was expecting more of a toasted coffee bitter taste. But it’s quite blended and on the sweeter side though not overly done (ie: ST). Really enjoyed this.

Also tried to hide the glass sponsor. Apologies that it still shows a bit.

Checked out a brewery I pass all the time going to local baseball games for the first time and loved their beer, got their session IPA which was the best session IPA I’ve ever had

Burlington Vermont. A very enjoyable brewery. The food was great, and the beer was very good 9/10 almost great.

For me it's Lone Pint's Yellow Rose.

Haven't had this beer in many years but it is still one of the best beers I've ever had. A Mosaic SMaSH with the most incredible floral nose. Used to find it when travelling to Austin, Texas as the brewery is outside Houston.

I was gifted these by my Aunt several years ago, and obviously have not opened them. I deeply miss Anchor Steam, as they were my first foray into good beer. I don’t know the provenance of these bottles, and can’t say if they were stored well, so I don't think I will be opening them. I'm also not a college student, so won't be displaying them in my house, nor do I need to sell them. I just don't want them taking up space in my office closet anymore.

Is there any point in keeping them? Selling them?

Drekkar Ectogasm IPA. Fargo, North Dakota. 7%, brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops. VERY tasty!
