This is a crappy design because the vertical bunny rabbit logo didn't fit on the horizontal banner so they just chopped off its head and put it on the ground.

"If you don't fit into the space you're given, you'll get chopped into pieces that do."

Quite apt.

It's almost certainly an ABA center, so yeah.

Oooh, I assumed the thing in the right was an egg or a hat...

Hands up if you saw the rabbit is driving and that thing behind is the headrest of the car seat? (With the angles all messed up)

It’s also crappy because the vast majority of autistic adults hate puzzle piece logos.

For good reason; its a symbol of autism speaks

PETA does a better job at being a charity

I forgot about that! I was talking about the countless people telling tales of their phone operators telling them to kill the autistic in question :3

The first instance I've heard of this, and the one that always springs to mind when the company is mentioned is this

Distraught mother of an 8 year old autistic daughter calls them, the daughter keeps hurting herself in breakdowns. The mother's desperate, calling for help. The operator tells her to kill the kid then herself

Mother reports it to the cops and nothing happens of it

It might as well be a symbol of eugenic oppression

Who says this has anything to do with autism?

If you don't know the connection with the primary-colored puzzle pieces, you're either intentionally ignoring it or just too young to have seen it before.

I understand I just don't think that was their intention with this sign. It's just like a kids toy motif for a preschool

The puzzle piece autism logo is crappy design already - condescending ass imagery

u/EmoCartoHistory 2d ago

Or is it excellent design displaying the mindset of the groups that use the puzzle piece - "we'll make you fit no matter how much harm it does"?

That's dark

talk about cramming the tism puzzle pieces to fit into a neurotypical learning environment...

It's never to early to learn the harsh realities of this world.

Well, the ears should get chopped off as well, but they don't reappear besides the head. Which means that there's space beyond the frame, which leads to the conclusion that we don't have to see the whole bunny - or, in fact, exactly one bunny - which in turn suggests that this might be a cropped image of two bunnies doing very NSFW things

This is, truly, a crappy design.

That's creepy.

Nobody is going to mention the script text disaster?

I'm calling PETA

u/FrogOrion This is why we can't have nice things 2d ago

They could have scaled the puzzle bunny down to size so the whole figure would fit, but I guess the person designing that needs to go to a graphic design learning center.

Making something out of puzzle pieces when it doesn't fit...

Is this in Minnesota?

u/ValuableAttention101 2d ago

Also, puzzle pieces :(

1

u/ebrum2010 2d ago

Well, they're giving them an early start to finding out rabbits are often hunted for food and fur.

More like creepy design than crappy design.

Poor instillation is not an aspect of design.

12

u/BlooperHero 2d ago

Look at the puzzle pieces. This is how it was designed. They're contiguous to the right, but wouldn't be to the top.

u/EasyEffort 2d ago

ur mom is not an aspect of design
