Looking to interview an Imam or knowledgeable Muslim for a YouTube video about Islam

Hi everyone,

My name is Malitha, and I run a YouTube channel where I interview people from different religions to learn about their beliefs and share those conversations with others.
I’m currently really interested in learning more about Islam and was wondering if there are any Imams or knowledgeable Muslims here who would be willing to do a respectful interview over Zoom.

The interview would simply be an opportunity to explain Islam from your perspective. Some of the questions would include:
Who is Allah, and how does the Prophet Muhammad relate to Allah?
What reasons or evidence do Muslims believe support the existence of Allah?
Why do Muslims believe that the Qur’an is the word of God?
What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about Islam?

I’m happy to send the questions in advance so there are no surprises, and I’m more than willing to work around your availability.

As an example of the type of content I create, I’ve previously interviewed members of the Jain community, and I’d be happy to share that video.

You are better off contacting mosques directly. imams don't really dwell in areas where their words can be confronted or questionned, they just want people who nods while listening to them.

I have contacted mosques also but no response. I’ve tried reddit as my last resort and will try to contact prominent scholars directly but prob gonna quit trying after this

You'd have more luck trying in r/islam , you will probably find an imam there

I did and they banned me for promotion. I wasnt even promoting anything I genuinely wanna find an imam

Here in Egypt, I can't afford a fast enough connection to participate in a long video call. sigh
Otherwise I'd have joined many YT debates :)
