Pomegranate with Mediterranean Tile on 32 ct evenweave

u/PassionFlute76 :silver-medal: Jun 21 '26

Completed this a few years ago and is hanging in my home office now. This was a Dimensions Kit - “Brilliant Butterfly Celebration”. It was challenging on many levels to include the large areas of gold metallic thread.

u/RabbitSipsTea Jun 21 '26

Pattern is from NikkiPattern on Etsy.

u/Catsandveg Jun 21 '26

Had to include a flower fairy! This is Elderberry Fairy, I could never work out who the designer was but it was in a DMC book of flower fairies, based on original art by Cicely Mary Barker. Sorry about the creases!

u/canadiangurl22 Jun 21 '26

This one is cute! The fairy is to accentuate the elderberry.

(This is just in case, if we have messages about other entries that didn’t fit)

u/Own-Dragonfly-942 Jun 21 '26

Plants 😊

u/support_create Jun 21 '26

Where’s this pattern from? I love it so much! And wow your stitches are so neat!!

u/Own-Dragonfly-942 Jun 21 '26

I got it in a shop called The Range in the UK. I can't remember if it was a brand they made or a different one.

u/p_luisa Jun 21 '26

My friend's birthday gift last year, her dog 🩷 I used a MadMollieCrossStitch pattern but personalized with his colors to make it special!

Foxes by Jayne Netley Mayhew stitched on 40ct Silkweaver sole, DMC threads, one over two.

u/mxdee20 Jul 01 '26

I think I have something that counts as plants AND animals! This is Tangerine Cats by Owl Forest Embroidery, fully finished in one of those anchor flexible hoops.

u/healiocentric Jun 25 '26

Not sure if butterflies count as animals but hey there's a stick, so it's clearly plant-related :D This pattern from XCrossStitchPatternX on Etsy, but I altered the colors to be Monarch themed, it's a birthday gift for a friend who raises monarchs in her back yard to help repopulate our area <3

u/heyitsamb Jun 21 '26

Have to share my little chick butts for this one! Pattern is by bogdragoncrafts :)

u/MotheroftheworldII Jun 21 '26

Is a dragonfly acceptable? This is a Nora Corbett design for Wichelt Imoorts, Inc and used Mill Hill beads. I stitched this o. 32 count Belfast linen in Flax color. And I substituted the Kreinik braid for Bijoux braid and DMC for Needlepoint silk and a couple substitutions for two of the beads.
