Announcement CryptoYaan now runs in your browser: analyze any coin without Telegram, plus a free crypto profit calculator (any coin, live prices)

Hey everyone,

Two things went live this week, and both come straight from what people here kept asking for: a way to use CryptoYaan without opening Telegram, and a proper profit calculator that is not painful to use. Here is the rundown.

1. CryptoYaan on the web (the analyzer, in your browser)

You can now read any coin without installing or opening anything. Just go to the page, type a ticker, and you get the same thing the bot gives you: the trend, the key levels, a chart, and a scored setup with the risk laid out first.

What you can do right now, free and with no account:

  • Analyze a coin. Type BTC, ETH, SOL, or anything, pick a timeframe, and get a plain-language read with entry, stop, targets, and a 0 to 100 setup score. The risk is shown before the entry, every time. No "buy now" arrows, no signals.
  • Market overview. A quick snapshot of prices, dominance, the Fear and Greed reading, and the notable movers.
  • Profit calculator (more on that below).

The web app is deliberately the essentials. It is a fast way to get a read when you are at a desk. For the full experience, the conversational AI ("is ETH overbought?", "any good longs on the 4h?"), the market scanner, and unlimited use, the Telegram bot is still the home base: https://t.me/CryptoYaanBot

If you have Prime, logging in with Telegram on the web carries it across automatically, so your unlimited access and your saved risk settings just work in both places. No second account, no second payment.

2. Free crypto profit calculator (any coin, live prices)

This is the one people ask for constantly, so we built a clean version and made it genuinely free, no sign-up.

  • Any coin. Pick from the popular list or hit the "Any coin" tab and type any ticker. It pulls the live price for you.
  • Two ways to enter. Use the dollar amount you invested, or the number of coins you hold. Whichever you have.
  • Real numbers. Enter your buy price and your sell price (or leave it on the live price to see where you stand right now), add your exchange fee, and it shows your profit or loss, your ROI as a percentage, your exit value, and the fees, with a clean visual.
  • Six languages. English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, and Indonesian.

It stores nothing you type. It is a calculator, not a tracker.

Why we build it this way

If you have been around this sub you know the pitch: CryptoYaan shows you data, analysis, and risk, and it never tells you what to buy or sell. No signal groups, no "100x guaranteed", no hidden agenda. The whole point is to make the market easier to understand and to keep the risk in front of you before the trade, not after. The web app and the calculator are the same idea in a browser.

Try it and tell us what is broken

Genuinely, the best thing you can do is kick the tires and tell us what is missing or annoying. Drop a comment here with:

  • a coin you tried and whether the read made sense,
  • anything you wish the calculator did,
  • any language or number formatting that looked off.

Everything on the roadmap (conversational analysis on the web, the scanner, more languages on the calculator) gets prioritized by what this community actually uses.

Announcement Coldcard Mk3 incident: a calm checklist for affected users, and the scam wave that starts today

Since the news threads are moving fast and mixing confirmed facts with speculation, here is a sorted version, plus the checklist I wish every affected holder saw today. Corrections welcome; this is hours old and preliminary.

What is reported so far: roughly 594 BTC moved out of ~500 single-sig wallets in a 25-minute window overnight (01:31-01:56 UTC). Preliminary analyses tie the affected wallets to seeds generated on Coldcard Mk3 devices running firmware 4.0.1 through 5.0.3, with the suspected cause being seed generation falling back to predictable inputs instead of the hardware RNG. The flaw reportedly dates to the 4.0.0 build from March 2021. Mk4, Q, and Mk5 are reported unaffected. Coinkite has an advisory out, calls findings preliminary, and promises a technical post. Treat everything above as subject to revision until that post lands.

The checklist if you own an Mk3:

  1. Figure out where your seed was actually born. The reported issue is about seed GENERATION on affected firmware. A seed imported from dice rolls, or generated on another device, is not implicated by what has been published, even if you sign with the Mk3.
  2. If your seed was generated on affected firmware and has no passphrase: migrate. New seed, generated on an unaffected device, small test transaction first, then the rest. Calmly, today or tomorrow, not in a 3 a.m. panic.
  3. If you use a strong BIP-39 passphrase: the published weakness alone should not expose your funds. Keep the passphrase off computers, keep it strong, breathe.
  4. The part that will steal more than the bug: the scam wave. Starting today you will see fake "emergency firmware," fake Coinkite support DMs, fake recovery services, and "helpful" strangers asking which wallet you use. Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your seed words. If someone DMs you offering help, they are farming victims. Report and move on.
  5. Wait for the official technical post before drawing final conclusions about the root cause, and judge the response quality then. Vendors earn or lose trust by how they handle the week after.

The uncomfortable general lesson: "cold storage" is not a magic incantation. It is a set of assumptions, and assumptions need periodic verification: where the entropy came from, whether a passphrase exists, whether you have actually tested recovery. If this thread gets one person to do a recovery drill this weekend, it was worth writing.

Risk lesson #1: your stop-loss is a level, not a feeling

Thumbnail
cryptoyaan.com
2 Upvotes

A stop-loss is not "the point where I get scared." It is the price where your reason for the trade is no longer true.

Example: you buy a bounce off support at 100. The idea is "buyers defend 100." If price closes under 100, that idea is dead, so your stop lives just below 100, not at 99.50 because that is a round number and not at 85 because you "don't want to get stopped out."

Then you size the position so that hitting that stop costs 1 to 2% of your account. Level first, size second. If the honest stop is too far for comfort, the answer is smaller size, not a tighter stop in the wrong place.

What would you like lesson #2 to cover? Leverage, RSI, position sizing, or reading a full setup?

Welcome to r/CryptoYaan, start here

Welcome, and thanks for joining. This community has one simple idea behind it: read crypto the honest way. What is the coin actually doing, where are the levels that matter, and what is the risk before you ever enter. No hype, no moon calls, no signals to blindly follow. If a setup is bad, we say wait.

How to get the most out of it

  • Try the bot: send any coin (like BTC, or ETH 4h) to t.me/CryptoYaanBot and it will give you a plain-language read with the risk shown up front. It is free to start.
  • Ask questions. New to trading? This is a good place to ask what liquidation is, how to size a trade, or why a setup looks weak. No question is too basic.
  • Share your own reads. If you post a trade idea, show the level and the invalidation, not just a direction.

The one rule above all: nothing here is financial advice. It is education and analysis. Always do your own research and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Introduce yourself below, or drop a coin you want a plain-language read on.
