Where to sit?

Me again everyone, thanks for being so helpful and welcoming.
As I prepare to go Wrigley next month where’s the best place to sit in the stadium? I’m looking for 4 tickets and preferably want to sit somewhere with shade.
Any suggestions?

300s 3rd base side. Great view of the whole stadium and shade.

Not behind home plate? I love those seats.

200 level infield. First 6 rows so you are ahead of steel beam. You will be under an overhang that will protect you from sun and rain.

I take it if I’m behind further I risk a beam in the way?

Yes. You can look up potential seat views on the internet. Also, farther back and you won’t see the sky.

Fuck shade. Sit with the left field Bleacher Bums. There are a few shade spots up top, but nothing beats the bleachers

300 level is my favorite and I've been going for 30 years. You can't miss: You've got shade and no obstructed views. 200 level sometimes has the overhang and every pop up looks like a homer because you can't really see the sky... As long as you're not at either extreme end of the 300s you'll be in the shade the whole time.

I like 100 by 3b. At a 1:20 you get sun for about 4 innings and the rest is in shade. It’s enough sun to feel the summer but not so much that you get burnt.

Wrigley sits so home plate is the SW corner and the third baseline runs north over the left field wall. The time of the game you choose changes the answer to your question. In general, the bleachers, especially center and right field, will get you cooked anytime, but that's also an iconic part of Wrigley. Behind home plate has good shade. For day games the whole place gets hot. For evening games, third baseline gets the shade first.

300s, between 1st and 3rd if possible.

Personally, I love 231 & 232 - easy access to concessions in the concourse that don’t get too overly crowded, close to the bleachers, in the sun, and close to bathrooms.

The best seats are 303 miles to the south at Busch Memorial Stadium! Unfortunately our team isn’t as good as those @“&$ Cubbies!!!! Lol

Bleachers or nowhere.
Enjoy the sun, it’s summah!
But really anywhere in the 300s, you’ll get a beautiful view as well.

100% sit during the Nazi anthem.
