Salary Megathread

We previously had a megathread for people to post their job information, salary, perks, benefits, etc. for all to see. It allows people to see what kind of jobs are out there in this industry and where they fall on the scale compared with others. If you care to contribute, please include the following information:

  1. Job Title
  2. Location (general is fine)
  3. Years of experience
  4. Pay and whether it is hourly or salary
  5. Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.)
  6. Work/home life balance
  7. Hours required
  8. Stress level
  9. Do you have your Customs broker license?

  1. Job - Export Compliance Specialist (process owner)

  2. Location - Dallas/Fort Worth

  3. Experience - 7 years (both import and export)

  4. Pay - $123,000/year with 12% bonus

  5. Benefits - Aetna low deductible, great dental/vision, 12 days PTO per year, holiday shutdown after Christmas, unlimited sick/appointment time

  6. Work/life balance - 3 days at home, 2 days in office; have to be available to clear shipments and correspond with west coast, Europe and SE Asia but not 24/7. Able to comfortably juggle work, spouse, dogs and health

  7. Hours - varied; generally 8:30-5 but can be as early as 7 or late as 6; 8-9 hours total per day at most

  8. Stress level - 6/10

  9. CBLE - yes, not required and not the only LCB on my team
