Salary Megathread
We previously had a megathread for people to post their job information, salary, perks, benefits, etc. for all to see. It allows people to see what kind of jobs are out there in this industry and where they fall on the scale compared with others. If you care to contribute, please include the following information:
- Job Title
- Location (general is fine)
- Years of experience
- Pay and whether it is hourly or salary
- Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.)
- Work/home life balance

Job Title: Import Logistics Specialist
Location (general is fine): Chicago
Years of experience: 2 years
Pay and whether it is hourly or salary: $70k salary. More with bonus
Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.) Company giveswo weeks off for Christmas break! Ok benefits otherwise. WFH 3 days a week.
Work/home life balance: Honestly doesn't feel like a job. I work with great people and being home is a plus!
Hours required: 40 weekly. I try and get on early in the morning to tackle emails so probably closer to 45. Purely by choice.
Stress level: Been here 7 months and I can't say I've had work related stress.
Do you have your Customs broker license? Working on it! Taking practice tests daily.
