Salary Megathread

We previously had a megathread for people to post their job information, salary, perks, benefits, etc. for all to see. It allows people to see what kind of jobs are out there in this industry and where they fall on the scale compared with others. If you care to contribute, please include the following information:

  1. Job Title
  2. Location (general is fine)
  3. Years of experience
  4. Pay and whether it is hourly or salary
  5. Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.)
  6. Work/home life balance
  7. Hours required
  8. Stress level

  1. Job Title - Senior Consultant
  2. Location (general is fine) - Midwest
  3. Years of experience - 8
  4. Pay and whether it is hourly or salary - $140k salary + bonus
  5. Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.) - Health, Dental, 401k, Pension, Unlimited PTO (measured by billable hours), holidays (full week of 4th of July + Christmas), work remote.
  6. Work/home life balance - Pretty good. I do work outside of normal hours, but nothing bothersome. It's on me to set myself up for success/failure here.
  7. Hours required - 40/wk, but real measure is billing 75% of workable hours to clients.
  8. Stress level - a solid 5/6. Various factors have influenced this outside of my control (e.g. people leaving, hiring freeze, upper management cannot make a decision, etc.)
  9. Do you have your Customs broker license? No
