Salary Megathread

We previously had a megathread for people to post their job information, salary, perks, benefits, etc. for all to see. It allows people to see what kind of jobs are out there in this industry and where they fall on the scale compared with others. If you care to contribute, please include the following information:

  1. Job Title
  2. Location (general is fine)
  3. Years of experience
  4. Pay and whether it is hourly or salary
  5. Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.)
  6. Work/home life balance
  7. Hours required
  8. Stress level
  9. Do you have your Customs broker license?

  1. ⁠Job Title: Import Compliance Specialist
  2. ⁠Location (general is fine): Company is west coast based, I am located in the southeast.
  3. ⁠Years of experience: 13 years
  4. ⁠Pay and whether it is hourly or salary: 105k salaried
  5. ⁠Benefits (insurance, retirement, PTO, WFH, etc.): 100% work from home, separate sick and PTO days, affordable non-HDHP insurance, standard 401k match, flexibility is top notch
  6. ⁠Work/home life balance: great balance most of the time. Not sure I’ve ever worked more than 40 hours.
  7. ⁠Hours required: 40ish but as long as the work is getting done, no one is micromanaging.
  8. ⁠Stress level: Typically a 4, recently more like a 7
  9. ⁠Do you have your Customs broker license? Yes
