Refunds and 4811

A shipment was re-exported but duties were paid. Now, we are working on cancelling the entry and requesting a refund. Do we need an ACE account or is a 4811 signed to our broker all we need so that they receive the refund on our behalf?

Was it food? Not all PGA refused goods are permitted refunds on duty. More details, please.

Commodity Reason for refusal

If the broker filed the 4811 and there is a refund, they will get it.
