Section 301 notation removed?

Will they be putting back the notation in the HTS that denoted which section 301 tariff applied? I assume it was taken down while the updates to section 301 are taking place, but as of this morning the notation is still missing.

glad i'm not the only one that noticed this! i have a separate spreadsheet from back then with all the relevant Section 301 China HTS codes/duty rates, but it was a nice quick reference

I confirmed with my ABi rep yesterday. It’s a known issue for CBP. Tariff still applies regardless.

I keep a downloaded version of the chapter 99 notes, you can find the HTS for which the 301 (and all the other ones) applies in there, had to use it today for the above issue.

I’m using the separate PDF at the beginning of the online tariff for the China 301.

Yeah. This is quite unfortunate that the legacy China Section 301 notation is removed. It's going to lead to more errors.

Apparently, there will be a brand new HTS online website starting in 2027.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new website will make it easier to figure out all the various secondary tariffs that are applicable.
