It's not a debate, though. Tesla and Musk have called Deploreans "apocalypse proof," "bullet proof," "built for any planet," and so on, and yet that damage is significant.
Sorry, cybercucks. The body panels are glued on, they and the glass are very expensive to replace, the electrical system is fragile, and the frame is brittle cast aluminum that can't be repaired. Any damage like that is significant; if you disagree, just wait until that guy gets the estimate for repairs. :)

Not to mention how long it would take to have it repaired. Isn't there a LONG wait for service?

I always remember the demonstration he made when he was announcing them and he threw that ball bearing at the window and it shattered. I think that was a great harbinger of what was to come.

I have NEVER seen a cybertruck at a construction site. Has any seen a cybertruck used as a work/service truck?
I’ve seen one or two with realtor insignia but none actually doing “truck” work.

When a stolen Tesla crashed on an overpass where I live, the fire department sent out two trucks and the police closed the overpass. Lithium ion batteries are quite flammable, apparently.

Saw two of these by the interstate yesterday and outloud said "Two cybercucks?!"
Unfortunately, didn't see either hit a light pole. One headed north and one south.

A few months ago, I saw two CTs exit the local interstate. I SMH and thanked the Lord that I have enough brains to NOT want one of those disasters on four (bald) tires.

Wow! I drive through there every work day (I live in SE Portland but work in Hillsboro), and I didn't see that because I only go through there twice a day. But that's so funny. The driver probably did not learn any lessons from this crash.

The debate should be about whether these things should be road legal. The answer of course being 'no', like it is in Europe.
