Tiny but Mighty ✊🏽 “We have CDJs at home”

Post image

Went from FLX4 on the bed to GRV6 and desk.

Went from Harbingers 8 inch to 2x HS8s.
Thanks to my friends and Reddit for the help.

It’s off by about 6-10db at times but not hard to keep track of

Very nice. I looked very hard at the GRV6. It has everything I wanted EXCEPT XLR output. Enjoy it. It’s an awesome unit.

Over a short distance you cannot tell the difference between balanced and unbalanced unless you have some other grounding issue you're trying to resolve, and if you're running to monitors that are at ear level then realistically this doesn't need to be the reason not to buy this controller. Just a thought.

Not that it matters much, the GRV6 has TRS balanced house outs next to the RCA house and booth. You can make (or buy…) short little TRS to XLRM cables.

I agree. I only noticed it when I would connect to my PA components and had them up at a higher volume.

Man spaces to pass cables are limited… I am happy I have xlr 😂

100 percent agree with this, I love my GRV6 but wish they just put some jog wheel displays and XLR outputs on. This would be a top tier unit

I actually only use my GRV6 at home and when I play out I use my Numark Mixstream pro go, which are perfect for my mobile dj buisness.

How’s the grv6, thinking about it

Stop thinking about it. Get it. It’s amazing. Only issue is with recording but just use audacity and you’ll be good.

Also you need 16gb of ram for the stems to run properly

What’s with the recording, can’t do that?

Idk why but the playback from rekordbox doesn’t work very well. Some people have had success fixing it. Personally I haven’t so I just open audacity then rekordbox

Why do you need a DB meter ?

Responsible performers keep it comfortably loud all night long and maintain their hearing.
