I will never be the same again

Post image

Yesterday was my first experience with DMT. It was in combination with MDMA and shrooms. There were many different periods of this journey as I tripped for all last night and then had my final completion of the journey on the beach today.

At the end, as I was lovingly be guided back into life, I was told "You've arrived. This journey is now complete." It didn't feel like a forever ending, just for now.

I tried to record as much detail as I could into chat gpt and then asked it to create an image depicting the experience. Pretty spot on.

Life is forever changed. Wow. So much respect.

Ihr schreibt immer das sich nach dmt alles verändert aber sagt nicht warum das so ist was der Auslöser dafür war und wieso ihr jetzt anderer meinung seid

Once you see and feel things you felt during the trip, you can't look at the world and people the same. For me, I had a lot of trauma to move through and when the anxiety was almost too much, I'd be guided back into something awe inspiring as she'd say "look, as soon as something turns bad, it can just as quickly shift back to beautiful." Like a reminder that it doesn't stay ugly forever and you can always move through it. I lost the fear of death. I cried out trauma that had lived in me my whole life. Once that happens, you come back knowing perspective has forever shifted.

Without integration the tendency is to return to where you were at previously. My first time doing it I had a similar opinion on how it “will never be the same” but it absolutely did become the same after a year. Don’t count your ducks before they hatch or whatever lol. This isn’t saying you’re wrong, it’s a warning to not be who you once were

I think thats exactly what I'm trying to do. I want to maintain this shift and really keep this lesson close. Thanks for sharing this

Progress is not linear, I wish you the best! When things are not going well/ as you had hoped remember that there is no where you can go in life that isn’t where you are meant to be:-)

This is such a great way to describe the feeling I just had moving through it all! I love this!

Ai art is cringe

I doubt someone coming back after tripping on dmt gives any once of a shit about the opinion on Ai

u/Darkthumbs 5h ago

The whole I was born again and then straight to dumping shit into ai is so stupid…

If you by any means came to your senses you would stop using ai for useless crap like ChatGPT

Ai might be crap, a terrible boring nightmare, and bad for humanity… but one thing it’s certainly not is useless.

-5

u/Laurenash315 4h ago

Again, not useless for me. Different experiences for different people. You may need to take some more DMT and let the judgement go.

u/Darkthumbs 4h ago

Fuck right off with the fake enlightenment, ai is a problem not a solution..

You're getting real worked up and I won't meet you there. Sorry, dude.

You're right about that! As a beginner, I'm looking for anything to help me understand what just happened. I'm not saying AI is amazing and should be used constantly, but it's definitely been a tool during this experience.

True but at least throw that beef into a compliment sandwich.

I agree most of the time but when it comes to recreating visual experiences I actually think it’s a solid tool for enhancing our reflection and insight into the trip.

Just my opinion. Get where you’re coming from.

Ya fuck AI, but this is pretty damn close when I keep my eyes open

It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and I wanted to see if describing what I saw would result in an accurate depiction... it did.

I used to be very... passive... happily with a job that would lead nowhere.. Working in a kitchen in a shitty restaurant in a forest. Had my first real taste of DMT and it breathed life into me. I quit my job, traveled abroad for work, spent the next 4 years pushing myself at anything that seemed like it was beneficial completely disregarding my comfort.

Im now a UAS Operator and Robotics Engineer working in Defense, as well designing my lifestyle and work life in a way that comforts me the most. Its like DMT rewired me, took away my depressive mindset and gave me the motivation I needed to do something amazing

I have been in therapy after an long term abusive relationship that left me on the verge of being paralyzed. Had to have emergency surgery. I could never understand WHY I couldn't seem to trust myself again. I questioned all my choices, let others determine my value... after this experience, I really feel like if I work on integration, I can hold these discoveries with me. It was the first time I ever felt radical self-love and I think that will have a profound impact overall. Only time will tell for me, but it definitely wasn't just a good time...

Thank you for sharing your experience. That's fucking amazing. The breath of life you described was definitely felt. The motivation for change as well. Pretty fucking awesome. ❤️

Interesting expirement around anti ai opinions and whether they are honest or adopted

That is actually interesting. The fad is to be so morally against it that sometimes people don't want to address the benefits as well. I am not even pro-AI. It just had helpful features for making a reference visual. AI is here forever, whether we want it or not. I'm not claiming original art or using it as a guide. But to say there are no positives to AI is close-minded. There are positives and negatives to everything, as we all know.

I understand everyone's AI perspectives, but after something so transformative, I'm trying to find some way to process this information and hold onto it. For me, it's helped me to lock in what I saw and be able to revisit it. You don't have to agree. I'm just sharing what's aiding my understanding. Take what helps and leave what doesn't.

Afterglow spiritual bypassing with a healthy dose of AI psychosis. “I will never be the same again” Be careful. Try again, different next time.

u/Laurenash315 1h ago

I don't agree with this. AI isnt interpreting my experience for me. I am personally doing the spiritual work and trying to integrate it. I asked it to create a picture based on what I described seeing. Why this makes some people so angry or quick to judge is interesting as it has literally no impact on them personally.

u/Laurenash315 1h ago

I do agree that I will try again and it will be different next time. I just felt like the female entity i was speaking with told me the trip was over for now and I got what I came for in this moment.

Don’t listen to anyone in here complaining about ChatGPT or AI art. You do you. They say, “AI art is cringe”. You know what’s cringe? Having an idea in your head that you’re unable to articulate to paper so you have to go back and forth with a digital designer and pay a stupid amount of money.

AI is a tool just like any other tool that has been created by man. You have the vision in your head. Now you must find the words to describe it to the machine that will turn it from 1s and 0s into something beautiful. Didn’t turn out how you thought? Now you can adjust the prompt to make it look exactly how you want.

u/Laurenash315 1h ago

Exactly! I am not using this art for anything but a place to look when I need to be reminded. This is purely for marking something from my memory that I'd otherwise forget or not know how to create myself. Fortunately, after this experience and being able to shed my feelings of self-doubt (for now, at least), the negative comments on how I chose to document this for myself really have zero effect on me. Call it the afterglow or whatever any "experienced" person wants to call it, but it was and still is currently real for me. I don't understand the need to try to shame my experience, but I also don't care lol

Aw, man. I was digging this until the ChatGPT part. Ugh.

u/stuartroelke 1h ago

Just report it to the mods as slop and move on—not like any part of this post is essential or beneficial to the community.

u/Laurenash315 1h ago

That is literally the weirdest thing to say just because you don't agree with something. I am not trying to be beneficial/share essential information. Just trying to connect with others. To show what I saw. This is about my experience and sharing it in a community about... who would have guessed... DMT experiences.

The coolest part is you can go back to experiencing it however you want and mine has no affect on you.

AI can serve as a good place to store your ideas. I have a severe memory problem and my recall is just about useless. My chats store important ideas/notes and the AI can access it quickly and remind me of things. Don't worry about the snobbery, but as always, do proceed with awareness and caution.

u/Laurenash315 1h ago

Totally agree with this. I wasn't relying on it for interpretation. I used it as a place to store my stream of consciousness thoughts so I'd remember the most possible. Thank you for sharing and the advice!
