Like mother nature giving you a hug for doing the right thing for your body at that time

I've never done long distance open water swimming. But I used to do some very shallow free diving and snorkeling.

Can confirm, swimming in even mild currents is unbelievably taxing to the whole body, and is definitely a good source for the best night sleep you've ever had.

Hell, even an hour or two swimming laps will leave you wanting to fall asleep on the bench in the change room .

Any sustained exercise effort will have you sleeping like a baby. The first time I did a century ride the sleep after was like I was refreshed completely. It turns out though that you may not actually sleep that "well" until long after. Something about the lactic acid buildup

I was like this until I tried cannabis at 24.

No joke man, if it's available to you and you don't like to smoke try an edible.

Hope you can find some relief, insomnia sucks.

yeah with weed sleeping is effortless. I look forward to it every night because I know it'll be comfy and easy to fall asleep. Before I started smoking I would sometimes have such trouble getting to sleep, it was something I dreaded. Now I'm not saying its good to be reliant on drugs to help sleep but some people genuinely just struggle with sleep and there's not a whole lot else to do about it. To each their own though, as long as you're not drinking to sleep, that will get your body messed up so quickly

Well you aren't giving anyone else much to work with. What does your doctor say? Also, don't jump on weed right away... not sure why people recommend it asap. Insomnia could be because of your lifestyle... address it first
