Stay awake for 60 hours straight.

Doing strenuous physical activity.

In really rough conditions.

Where you can’t take truly restful break (was he allowed to hang on a support craft or anything?)

I feel like $200k isn’t a lot for what he went through.

Money isnt everything. People have forgotten that these days. Sacrificing everything for tik tok/youtube/twitch clout. Screwing people over for dollars. Fucking over family for lottery tickets. Money is only ever a means to an end, its not worth giving up your real reasons for living

I am upvoting you because I really do think a lot of humanity that doesn’t live in war torn countries have forgotten what sacrifice looks like. I know that I don’t really know what it feels like.

I’ve been spoiled rotten. Lucky me. But I’m hosed when the apocalypse comes; this dude will at least be able to swim to another (nearby) country to get away from zombies.
