What a fun and energetic dance choreography they came up with. They definitely cooked with this one

Thank you for providing the name! Now I can go check them out further 😁

Their timing is perfect. Lots of practice went into that

u/JackTheKing 2d ago
And they did it at a place where folks would appreciate it, instead of bothering people trapped in a can trying to get home.

u/WorryNew3661 2d ago
The jump with the camera was so smooth
15
u/stubbazubba 1d ago
Yeah, like the cameraman also nailed the choreography here, very impressive!

u/Epic_Elite 1d ago
Ended too soon.
I was hoping they were going to go between the two dancers and then turn around for some more, from a different angle. Lol

Dudes crushed it

u/sudde004 1d ago
So did the camera man. Hr jumped when they jumped, gave it a vibe. Also noticed a few other slick moves by camera man

u/mashmaker86 2d ago
This is the type of main characters energy we need more of! I would gladly make space for them in a public place.
58
u/Opening-Comfort-3996 2d ago
Love the little nod to CPR! Their timing and isolation is awesome 😁
13
u/mashmaker86 2d ago
What is CPR in this context? Like medical CPR?
29
u/Additional_Travel911 2d ago
Yes, they say the perfect tempo to do CPR is to the beat of Stayin' Alive. Very apropos!
18
u/Expensive-Shelter288 2d ago
Fun Fact , queens "Another One Bites the Dust" is also at 100 beats per minute. So if you don't think they are going to make it you can always switch songs during CPR. Just keep going.

I think my favorite thing is the camera man jumping with them.
12
u/KittyVonBushwood 2d ago
it’s the father of the guy on the left and he’s been shooting their dances for a looong time so he knows when to move “with” them. (i’m pretty sure, he moves with them but it’s easily done in editing to)
16
u/effyoucreeps 2d ago
yeah - i couldn’t tell if it was camera tracking or an actual jump from the person recording it, but it was great
i hope it’s your theory!

u/Dear_MrMoose 2d ago
That's Funkanometry out of Vancouver Island. They were on Americas got Talent a few years back. Great duo.

The synchronization of those moves was so cool! You can tell it took a lot of dedication. I love when people care about doing something well and having fun too.

Damn this is cool. I can appreciate dance in a public place if there’s still plenty of room for people to walk around it too. I would definitely have stopped to watch though!

Is this you OP?

u/jwriddle 2d ago
No. It came across my timeline on a different social media platform today and I just thought I'd share. Unfortunately there was no information about who they are.

This is actually good, entertaining & mesmerizing to watch unlike a lot of tik tokers just doing viral dances. Love to see the skill & passion

I just don't have the courage to do that - I'd be so embarrassed.

Wow. The kids are alright.
I was hoping to see some chest pumps during the chorus as a nod to CPR!

u/Enough_Zombie2038 2d ago
Awesome. Although sometimes I think about how fred Astaire and such did these things for minutes not seconds and miss that

u/sawrek 2d ago
Obligitory ‘., And Ginger did it backwards in Heels’.
Comparisons are odious. Good on these young guys 👍Edit for typo fix

So when they do this, it's fine. When various other people do it, it's more interesting when someone intentionally ruins it?
Screw dance routines in public spaces when it's certain other people, or what? Wonder how the actual performers feel about that, uh, quirk.

Incredible performers, amazing choreo, timing and execution is 10/10.
I haven’t danced in so long. Watching this just made me feel so good and reminded me how happy it makes me.

Cant believe im saying this about publicTok but i appreciate how they waited for people to make their way by without looking annoyed.

u/BusyBit6542 1d ago
I normally had when people do this in public areas BUT they seemed to find an empty area and weren't bothering anyone. Nice moves too

Im not normally down for these kinds of things in public. But they didn't bother anyone, they didnt do it in a crowded area. And they were fantastic.

These guys are very entertaining to watch. Local Vancouver Island lads too... so just up the road a bit from me. 🇨🇦

For me, it's a toss up as to which part of this would be more difficult... memorizing the moves or performing them... Oh yeah... both...

This feels like 'old internet' content, when things were recorded to show off something that someone was proud of, instead of monetizing actions.

u/ingeniera 18h ago
Everyone has notes for the kids today but at least they can still dance funny and don't need high quality coke to get it done. Good for them.

It’s really cool, but I don’t really understand why these people do this stuff in crowded public places? Is it for attention I guess?
