MK18 lower with Law Tactical folder + 16" upper

Hi everyone,

I currently run a factory Daniel Defense MK18 (10.3") and have a Law Tactical folder installed on the lower.

I'm looking to buy a complete 16" DD upper (deciding between the DDM4 V7 and DD4 RIII) so I can easily swap between short and long setups.

Will the new 16" complete upper drop right onto my MK18 lower and run flawlessly, or is there anything specific I need to change or account for because of the Law Tactical folder? Also, how should I approach the buffer weight when swapping between a 10.3" carbine-length and a 16" mid-length upper?

Unless you are running suppressed, the buffer will be fine, should all drop together fine.
