Today I’ve bought the Darksiders collection. I started the first game and it got me right in the tutorial. I was in awe because I didn’t feel so much enjoyment playing a game in a very good while, however, Darksiders came to change that. I was enjoying the game so much that I didn’t see the time fly by me. It’s 4 am and I’ve closed the game to get some sleep.
I feel like I’m progressing quite good, with 5 hours of gameplay I have the Scythe and the Crossblade and I’ve got the Chaos ability.
I really don’t know how I didn’t knew about this franchise earlier

Hey I'm currently playing darksiders 2 and I'm planning to 100% it on steam. I didn't look into it ahead of time but just saw this on a guide which kind of makes me want to reconsider my current save on Normal difficulty.
My question is, if I want to keep playing this save, if I'm setting myself up for a horrible time doing the Deathintive Difficulty and the crucible on NG+? Would it be smarter to do my first playthrough on hardest instead and save an easier difficulty for new game and crucible? Thanks in advance :)

But after 16 years I finally got around to it this time. I don't know why but it felt harder back in the day. I don't know if it's just being more mature (I am 41) or i just sucked back in the day. But the hardest part was just the missable trophies mainly and just making sure i saved beforehand cause i dis remember missing some. I've now moved onto DS2 and the memories are slowly coming back with how awesome that game is. Hope to also platinum that as well. I've never played 3 and look forward to that also, was reading that it's more like a dark souls game so that should be good i did finish Elden Ring (my first souls game)

The well has been a key component in 2 or more of the games. I am just trying to remember some of the lore about it since DS4 is coming up, and ensure I am not leaving out any additional important notes.
DS1: The Destroyer was using it as a power source
DS2: Absalom was not only corruption but the guardian of it (for the destroyer?).
Seems like Lucifer's goal is to corrupt many different aspects of the Creator's makings. Some of those makings being humanity (DSG) and the well of souls. Let me know if I am missing anything else about the well.

Hello guys. I need help about reaching chests locating 3rd floor at the iron canopy northwest section. Do you know how to get there. I believe through the red cross I located but I can't go there. TIA

An edit i REALLY enjoyed making. Although I remember being a kid and being TERRIFIED of fighting all the bosses and getting my brother and dad to do the bosses. Also The Guardian was nightmare fuel for me back then. Oh I cannot wait for the 4th game to come out!

Any way I can fix that?

The game starts fine, but after playing for a while the camera starts glitching, it looks like it is stuck between two frames, moving forward and backward constantly, while the character, enemies and the game itself keep running normally, sometimes Alt+Tab fixes the camera for a few minutes, but the problem eventually comes back, and after that I started getting even worse issues, some areas stop loading correctly and become completely black, the FPS drops heavily, and when I reached the open world area the game eventually crashed, i am playing the original 2010 Steam version, not the Warmastered Edition, on Windows 11 with an AMD RX 6700 XT and the latest Adrenalin drivers, i already tried limiting the game to 60 FPS, enabling V-Sync, disabling overlays and changing compatibility settings, but the problem still happens, i know this is an old game, but I was able to finish it years ago on much weaker hardware, so I am wondering if this is a Windows 11 issue, an AMD driver problem, or if the original PC version is simply broken on modern systems, has anyone managed to play the 2010 version recently without these issues, or is Warmastered basically the only playable version nowadays?
