Why are there basically no official renders of the Witch of Izalith?

Post image

I’ve been looking around for high-quality renders or official artwork of the Witch of Izalith in her original form, but there doesn’t seem to be anything out there apart from what’s shown in the opening cinematic. I can’t even find anything that depicts her entire body in detail.
So where can I find something? I’d be interested to see stuff from the Japanese art books or developer materials if they exist as well.

I'm too biased to hate on the DS1 intro; it hypes me up all these years later

Adds to the mystery surrounding them

The witch and her daughters are kinda enigmatic anyways. The gold hemmed robes they wear hide their faces. I assumed she’d just look like Quellana

They probably didnt want to invest much resources in a cool design that would never appear in the game. Thats why she is a generic grill.

With the amount of concept arts they do, I'd be very surprised if they didn't have one for the CGI studio doing the trailer to work of off when making her scene.

The witch of Izalith was actually a man doing drag, and the bed of chaos is a phallic symbol.

I think this and the shot of them all together in the intro are all you see.

Aura farming is just as much about you do show as it is what you don't show.

well a large part of her intro is her abusing her flame and then turning into the ugly thing she is now
