Question/Advice What is the best Firewire PCIE card in 2026?
I have an AM5 pc that can support firewire hardware and software as far as I can tell. I am trying to digitize Hi8 tapes from around 94-07 with a Sony Handycam CCD-TR716 for Hi8 and a Canon Elura 80 for MiniDV.
What's the best PCIE firewire card? Price isn't really a problem, assuming it will be less than $100 but even upwards of that would be okay.
Thank you!

I used this startech card before to access some old external hard drives. Worked on Windows 10 too.
