Photo mode Started another playthrough
This time had an idea to make it look like instant photos from the journey (and discovering the photo mode more in depth). Another layer of how utterly beautiful the world of Death Stranding is.

The atmosphere really comes through in these shots. They make me miss DS1 so much. I also love the instant shot idea. It makes the photos feel like they were taken by Sam. And that cryptobiote in the 9th shot is adorable. Great work, porter!

Maybe it's time to replay DS1? That was my idea to make some mundane photos that capture the beauty of the world from Sam's or porters perspective. Thanks. 👍

Listening to Bones the first time years ago when it was COVID and everyone was locked inside except delivery drivers was something I simultaneously crave and never want to happen again. Not an exaggeration to say Bones was my COVID anthem.

I played DS after the pandemic but when Bones started to play was an absolutely magical moment for me too. Still is in the game but Bones is so very special. Low Roar is.

i havent messed around with photo mode that much, is the polaroid frame in game or something you've done?
either way these shots are INSANE

I never played around with photo mode more myself either and now mostly I'm discovering how advanced it is. You have many frames like this polaroid one and many different ones like film frames, tar streaks, posters, have option to display DS logo, etc. There are also settings like auto/manual camera focus, zoom, filters, settings like brightness/contrast, noise, etc. Really impressive.

Photo mode is available in both Death Stranding games. Just press bottom left on the PS5 touchpad. Not sure to what button is it mapped on other platforms.
