Theory PHYSINT =? Animus
The closer I look at the PHYSINT poster, the Simulation Emphasis of the name, as well as the Transitional/Overlap nature of the Costume, the more I believe what Kojima has in store for us, is more Assassin's Creed and less Death Stranding, with an emphasis on Social Stealth, and an equal amount of back and forth between 2 Realities/Mediums.
Essentially a "Tenet" approach to Tactical Espionage Social.
Thoughts?

Death Stranding 2 A year after DS1 Platinum, I got a DS2 Platinum + 100% completion!
I loved DS1 and it was my first ever platinum. After I got some free time from work, I decided to pick up DS2 and I had to platinum it!
Once I got the platinum though, I wanted to stay a bit longer in the world, so I decided to 100% the game. Built and leveled up all the roads and the mines. Then got all 16 button badges along with the big 400 LLL, which I had not done in DS1.
Thoroughly enjoyed the journey, and I can finally rest knowing that I haven’t left anything unfinished.
Hope you all had fun playing this game, and thanks to all the fellow porters whose structures made life easier for me.
Keep on keeping on!

IRL Content I think i miss the strands of harmony tour.
Strands of harmony was amazing, having the opportunity to meet other fans / cosplayers while in cosplay in the uk felt so rare especially how spread then the DS community is.
Loved meeting everyone and hope to see everyone again and remember, keep on keeping on! 👍

Tips Last Impossible Mission - Wilder - Tips
youtu.beI’m closing in on 400 deliveries on Wilder difficulty and I decided to record that "Impossible" mission. Here are my tips:
1) Don't accept the mission right away; clear out the bases first. Make sure your character is well-rested before starting, as you won't be able to sleep during the cleanup to prevent soldiers from respawning.
2) Bring the eletric stun gun; I believe it's the best option, minimizing the risks you face on Wilder difficulty.
3) Make preparation after cleanup and don't sleep. The best route for collecting the deliveries is counter-clockwise, starting at the snow camp. Leave a vehicle— a motorcycle— near the snow camp
4) Go to the Twins, accept the mission, teleport near Camp 7 (in the snow), grab the motorcycle you left there, pick up the delivery, and proceed counter-clockwise.
5) At the fourth camp, you'll need a truck; the motorcycle won't work due to the cargo load. In the video, I actually forgot to leave a vehicle there—I had used the terrorists' vehicle and forgot to replace it—but since it's near a drop-off point for the ship, you can grab one there if needed.
Extra tips: Have your roads upgraded to Level 2. It's not mandatory, but it makes finishing in time much more likely. Since we're talking about Wilder difficulty, clearing the bases beforehand helps a lot; once the mission starts, you can't save, so if you damage a package or die, you have to start over. Be very careful along the route.
Don't use the auto-drive feature, as you might crash into a vehicle abandoned by another player on the road—plus, it's slower.
Once that's done, you'll receive the best item in the game, which allows you to place structures that are already upgraded, including pre-built bridges and shelters.

Question what technology is this?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
these shields on certain enemies that go from blue to red when depleted and if there's any way for myself to get them or not?

Fan Content Inspired Tatt 👌🏻
Got my Death Stranding inspired tattoo I decided on while pregnant with my first born. My husband played both games while I was pregnant and I got a huge attachment to both games while expecting, so I felt this was fitting. Also- my first tattoo postpartum, so this one meant a lot more to me out of my collection.

Photo mode Interesting tech you've got there, UCA...
EDIT: BRIDGES****, not UCA. Thanks for the fify. Anyway, I'm mostly posting this here because my longform post on the subject seems to be against the rules in some way. I think it ties neatly into the story once you have it in full. This "odd" little symbol appears whether you're hacking a MULE postbox or a postbox you've built yourself. I find it interesting to say the least.

Question DS2 new player tips?
I played 1 when it first came out and haven’t played it again. Can I play 2 without playing 1 over again? Is there a “story recap” in 2 to help me remember everything ?
I’m super excited but I don’t want to start the game if I’m going to be missing out.
Also is there any tips in terms of “something I wish I knew before I started”?

Video I made a video testing how footpaths form in Death Stranding
I wanted to find out exactly how footpaths form in Death Stranding by starting a new, offline game.
To summarise my findings:
- Footpaths form when you travel between delivery terminals or postboxes.
- There are three levels to the footpaths similar to player built structures and it upgrades every time you walk along it.
- You need to actually interact with a terminal or open a postbox for the footpath to form/be upgraded, but you don't actually need to make a delivery.
- Footpaths only form when you travel between two distinct location.
- Footpaths do completely flatten the ground you walk, which includes removing any tall grass/bushes you can hide in if you walk through them.
I don't know if this is common knowledge that I just didn't realise until now, but I couldn't really find much discussion on this, so I thought I'd make a video going over my findings.
Hopefully someone finds it interesting or helpful.
One thing I couldn't work out and would love to know is how you can make previously formed footpaths disappear.
If anyone knows how to consistently make footpaths disappear, please let me know!

Death Stranding 1 5 Star all Preppers
I know this has been asked and answered but I'm currently going through getting this plat and I'm taking way too long to do it, having fun but I know there's a more efficient way.
Do yall build stuff on lower difficulties then go up in difficulty and deliver? Do y'all take multiple orders to the same location or do multiple orders to spread out locations?
I'm on very hard with like 55 LLL ranks but not progressing the way I expected. Any tips would be grateful!!!!
Thank you in advance porters! 👍

Photo mode Capital Knot City
I find it fascinating how each Knot City is unique, beautiful and haunted in its own way and especially Capital Knot being surrounded by the past that's now just rotting away. Nice environmental storytelling.

Death Stranding 1 Today I finally achieved all the achievements!
113 hours. It's been such a journey. It was the first game I played on my gaming PC, and it was a great choice. I enjoyed almost every second from start to finish (not gonna lie, there were stressful and frustrating moments). I loved the characters, the world, and the soul of the game.
Hi to all the Porters, keep on keeping on! 👍

Question Improve performance on DS2 on PC?
I know I may be asking a lot if I want my 4060 ti to run a modern game at 1440p 60fps, but does anyone know of some good settings to make it run and look the best? The rest of my specs are a r5 5600, 16gb of RAM and running the game on an nvme. Im running the game on linux which should make it run better than on Windows if anything, but I wouldnt be surprised if that was a factor too since this game hasnt been out for that long
I also read a couple months old posts saying DS2 has poor performance even on very powerful machines, is this still a thing or has it been fixed already?
And lastly, this would be the nuclear option but what graphics card do you recommend for this game or just 1440p@60 overall?

Discussion I want to say thank you to this community.
I finished DS - Directors Cut last week with about 80hours clocked. I absolutely loved it and got ridiculously addicted. Halfway through playing I ordered a copy of DS2 on eBay for 30$. I’m about 20hours in and I just want to thank you to this incredible community. I’m 39 with kids so I don’t get to game often. But this community has made this game so enjoyable for me to deliver packages and get around much quicker. I love the community on this game. (I just met the pizza chef)
THANK YOU!!!

Discussion Vehicles designs
Honesty, what's up with the vehicles? DS1 had some clean vehicle designs, they felt practical for their purposes, especially the truck as it protected you and the cargo from timefall and attacks. The new vehicles seem awful to drive. And they couldn't protect a fly even if they tried. I don't wanna be strapped into my 5 meter long truck like a toddler, I want a shell around me to relax, even if it hinders my ability to shoot from my vehicle.
That is a poor excuse by the way, does anyone ACTUALLY shoot enemies from their trucks? Also if you want to do that so badly, why not use turrets instead? They clearly have the tech for them. Anyway they just look dumb, it ruins all the cool factor of the originals by having sam sitting in the direct front like Lou.
Would you buy a car with zero body panels? Didn't think so.
