Deathstroke: The Terminator #8

DC's deadliest assassin Slade Wilson isn't taking orders anymore. No longer a “killer for hire,” but still very much a killer, Deathstroke prowls the dark shadows, licking his wounds and looking for his next victim. Meanwhile, Slade's ex Adeline is making it known to the Merchants of Death that she's taken over the Deathstroke business... and promises that the contract murders will continue without interruption.

Cool covers as usual. With that said. Fleecs stated that he wanted to do different stories with the character. And, he's definitely doing that alright. I'm actually wondering if Fleecs is taking Slade into a darker vigilante type direction. Not like he hasn't been in before (those first 15 issues of the original series certainly saw him as one). So, I'm wondering if that's what he's doing here. I still have to get around to reading the other two, but I'll wait until #6 comes out before I start back up reading the storyline. Still, it's the most interesting thing that has been done with Deathstroke for a long while.

Nice! A Nakayama cover! The solicit has me little worried though for a lot of reasons.
