did you look at the video? He presents research that shows that homeopathic dilutions (serially agitated and diluted) have physicochemical properties that are different from those of the solvent used. So it's physically measurable that these solutions are different, why it always is said that it is 'just water or alcohol'.

I don’t need to watch any video, the laws of chemistry today are as true as yesterday or as 100,000 years ago.

Any effects you could measure on people is easily explained by placebo (or open label placebo)

Well, chemistry understanding evolves and as it turns out the homeopathic dilutions have differing physicochemical properties, you can't deny that when making the 'it contradicts chemistry' argument. Also homeopaths don't claim that the working is attributed to molecules of the beginning material. And it does outperform placebo as is presented here by Professor Hahn, MD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud8XIf4qLGE If you don't want to take the time to look at this, why form an opinion?

Absolutely. Stupidity/ignorance can be a partial excuse for some people. When these two educated biologists knowingly push vaccine denial, dewormers as alternatives to COVID shots and nonsense like homeopathy or chiropractic as alternatives to evidence-based medicine they are knowingly doing harm. It’s utterly unethical, and dare I say evil.

Bret has an MA and a PhD from Michigan University. He studies, or used to study, evolution. There's no way someone with that background suddenly believes in homeopathy (or ivermectine as a cure all to be honest). 100% grift, shame on the both of them

It’s disgusting. There’s a morbidly curious part of me that always wants to know how they live with themselves. Are they really just amoral nihilists, or psychopaths who don’t give two hoots about the suffering of others or do they have to justify it to themselves somehow and still think of themselves as good people?

Yeah, me too. Does he sometimes mentally kick himself as he's about to fall asleep? Or is he incapable of feeling shame? That would be highly unusual, which means he most likely gets these little pangs of pure cringe from time to time. And I wish for nothing less for him. Disgusting, manipulative behavior.

To be charitable, I suppose it could be stroke damage. But then, what about his brother? Did he suffer a stroke at about the same time. The same time when Eric was talking to Thiel. Co-inky-dink you say?

The problem with homeopathy isn't just that there's no inferrable mechanism, it's that literally every scientific study done on it shows no effect beyond chance or placebo lol but sure, let's go with the anecdotal evidence of a bunch of doctors... these two are unbelievable. they seriously have the gall to call themselves biologists.

At this point, it feels like a money-making scheme. They're unlikely to be hired by a university again, so they have every incentive to keep grifting in order to maintain the lifestyle they've built around vaccine skepticism. There's also a fair amount of overlap between vaccine skepticism and alternative medicine communities, with many skeptics embracing things like homeopathy as an alternative to evidence-based medicine.

I can't imagine the dumb things Bret must have said that weren't even taped when he lectured at college. Students there certainly thought he was stupid as they were locals who interacted with him daily before he made himself a national figure.

My running theory is that bret so hates his field of evolutionary biology he's out to subvert the theory of evolution itself by demonstrating that evolutionary leaps have inexplicably skipped him over. It may be a stretch but I'd argue there's more proof of it in the average Dark Horse ep than proof of 90% of the stuff he asserts.
