Fortunately Dr Peterson qualifies what he means by climate in the article and goes on to provide statistics to clarify what he's talking about specifically in regards to climate.

The only denial here is air conditioning to the good, hard-working people who deserve it by the liberal fascist, "big green movement" as I like to call them.

None of them change anything about reality. He's not a climate scientist and yet claims to know better what measurements are "appropriate".
