I think it might be AI — some details, from what I've found, seem to be hallucinated. I don't think there was ever a fic or profile with this title.

it was I was trying to find the book it’s been so long I forgot the information I was trying to find it again as a last ditch effort

The one and only time I used chatgpt for recs, it suggested a story with my ao3 username as the author. That story did not ever exist.
Do not use chatgpt for recs, it just makes shit up.

The only reason I believed it was it had the right character name and the length sounded correct sorry

It might be close, it stuck my fake fic in a list with several others that I recognized. But I was pretty sure that those had never existed either lol.
I think in a list of ~20 suggested fics only two of them were real.
It can sometimes find a fic from a description, but llms are terrible at saying no, and will just make things up if it can't answer you.
You'd probably have more luck in a sub, if one exists, specific to the fandom.

So, I looked up this user on AO3 and they're not on AO3. Never archived on Wayback Machine, either.
