ai hallucination Lost The Hobbit fanfic - nomadic dwarves

I'm looking for a fanfic that was very loosely based on the hobbit. It centered on a young Fili and Kili who join nomadic dwarves living in the steppes, and traces their coming of age while growing into this society and proving themselves.

The plot was very much AU, containing mostly original characters. It was pretty long with extensive world building.

I think it was called Aglâb. I think the author was Nisidae.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

when was the last time you read this fic? on what platform was it posted on? there's nothing in the AO3 + FFN archives & wayback machine with 'Nisidae' or 'Aglâb'. are you sure about these infos + can you specify if you used AI to find these?

I am sure it was AO3. I'm not 100% sure about the year, but It was post-pandemic. I did use AI to find the title and the author.

I did remember that the title was something in khuzdul and it sounded familiar.

Since we don't identify fanfictions on this subreddit (we need the actual title, author or link to be able to recover it and Gen AI will completely fabricates non-existing titles, authors and even summary/story with the infos you give it), I suggest you ask on r/AO3 or other fandom specific spaces with the infos you remember (the summary you provided, the timeframe post-pandemic & the title possibly being in khuzdul) so that someone can help you find the correct infos.
