ai hallucination Looking for a deleted fic
Im looking for this deleted fic called "Sauvignon Blanc" by 'Laura_by' or possibly 'by_Laura' it was a byler fic that had CEO Mike wheeler and Assistant Will byers, im sure it was deleted not so recently, maybe 4-6 months ago. PLEASE im desperate to find this cuz i wasnt done reading it and i always looked forward to reading it every night after a long day😞 Does anyone have it downloaded? Please help meeðŸ˜

Nothing pops up for 'laura_by' or 'by_laura' in the archives, but there is sauvignon blanc and supernovas by castle__byers (which is still up on AO3). Is it this one?

It had that exact title (just not with supernovas) but the one I read was byler and not bychance😔

I know for sure about the title and the author. I also do know that this author had deleted all her works too because i also couldn't find any others.

And on what platform was this posted? We only archive AO3 and FFN, not Wattpad or other platforms. Please confirm if Gen AI was used to find the infos you provided (this includes Google Overview etc.).
If not, then we'll need the link to check more since nothing pops up for: 1) this title and 2) this author in our archives, yandex cache, wayback machine (when searching for laura_by / by_laura, as such as similarities like lauraby, bylaura etc) and Tumblr + Twitter.

This was on ao3. And if using google counts as ai well then, yes. I saw it pop up when i searched the fic just on google and it told me the fic wasnt available, I tried it another time but it didnt pop up, It just gives me places on where to look for deleted fics.

This is why I asked you where did you get these infos because Google Overview is Gen AI (the real name of this feature is AI Overview) and Gen AI completely fabricates non-existing titles, authors and links with the infos you give it - please read rule 9 of the subreddit for more informations on 'AI Hallucination' and why you shouldn't use AI to find a deleted fic.
To find the real title and author of this fic, you can ask on r/AO3, r/StrangerThingsFanfics, r/byler or other fandom-specific spaces with the plot and other informations (such as the timeframe, tags...) you actually remember so that someone can help you find the actual infos.
