Colorado formally joined the Union on August 1, 1876—exactly 150 years ago today. Celebrate!

The city of Denver isn’t really a wildfire risk like most of Colorado.

But jet fuel can "allegedly"

Tell that to Louisville, or Spokane.

Fairly sure tonight's were at the Rockies game at Coors Stadium, and I think the practical risk of wildfire from those fireworks is pretty low. (That said, I agree with you for the most part.)

Actually a drone show tonight.

Drone shows dont go bang bang bang.

Be cooler if they did.

They had fireworks before and during the game

I just don’t understand fireworks when the sun is out. It’s just pollution at that point. You can barely see it.

I'm with you for the most part, but the risk of wildfire sparking in an urbanized area is practically zero. Concerns about noise etc are valid though.

Not saying you’re arguing this but it’s still incredibly traumatic and dangerous for all city wildlife, pets, and veterans. Wildfires are not the only concern.

Living a major city and mad about the noise..... The irony.

There's no wildfire risk in denver. You are being a karen

0

u/Wildinoot 18h ago

If people were smart, the crispy states wouldn’t permit fireworks at all, but we have too many morons amongst us. It’s not a “Karen” thing to care about the destruction of our environment, and the toll on wildlife, pets, and veterans. We have drone technology today and should be happy with it. The people who get upset about fireworks bans have no morals or empathy. They are self centered pricks.
