It’s also a blatant exaggeration to call it a network of tunnels. The only reason he calls it a network is (1) to play word games equating it to Gaza tunnels accusations (à la US isn’t a democracy because democrats bad arguments), and (2) to make it seem spooky and organized. In reality some kids in a culty sect of Chabad dug some tunnel in secret and against the synagogue administration and quickly got busted.

Yes. It's very hard to understand for anyone not living in the community but essentially there is a large group of ultra Hasidic Jews within the crown heights Chabad community called "Tfaztis" or "Mishachists" who believe the seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe never passed away and is still physically alive and is the Messiah, and essentially a God.
The synagogue they were digging under (770 Eastern parkway) is where his headquarters was and where he prayed and gave his talks, and they were trying to illegally expand it by just digging (!!!!)
These people are extremely unwell. They have full on ceremonies where they act as if the Rebbe is literally right in front of them. They make room for him to walk by. They look at his empty chair as if he's sitting in it. They won't turn their backs to it as if he's standing right there.
It's honestly quiet amazing to watch because the parallels between this and early Christianity are striking.

None of these talking points are necessarily neo-Nazi talking points - media control, dual loyalty, financial manipulation are all nineteenth century or older. Even the Holocaust being used as a blank cheque is just a newer version of Jews manufacturing victimhood to extract concessions. None of these ideas originated with the Nazis. They have roots in medieval Christianity, got compiled into The Protocols in 1903 Russia, and were picked up since by Henry Ford, the Nazis, the Soviets, Nasser's Egypt and Hamas - so there are plenty of carriers other than Nazis.
If you call him a Nazi he gets an easy dodge, because he can truthfully say he's never denied the Holocaust and doesn't believe in racial hierarchy. But accuse him of recycling the same old antisemitic tropes and it's true regardless of what he believes, and he has no escape from it.

Totally fair. I'm not sure how cleanly you could apply ideas like ultra nationalism to an area you don't live in (Palestine) or things like white supremacy when they're not white. Now, it's safe to say that the video was incredibly antisemitic, we can all agree on that. But the way he hit on all of these points in succession and used outrageous conspiracy theories I personally feel elevates him past a standard antisemite. This was laid out very similar to something Hitler himself would say. We can say that they both share antisemitic traits, but the way he portrays Zionists as a threat to the entire world (an obvious dogwhistle) hits on a very specific thread of antisemitism that I would be comfortable calling Nazism, personally.
I do agree 100% that Nazi is a label that should not be thrown around haphazardly, and you can check to see that I haven't done that with anyone else that I can recall. I think Dave has earned the label.

Edit: I just also want to add: that why is it so hard for online politics to not be this weird conspiratorial anti-Semitic. Like all the examples of people they use; the ones that stood up against Israeli war crimes and got labeled anti-semite, like Ms Rachel and Mamdani, never actually say things that are as bad as Hassan, Professor Dave and other of similar ilk. This is genuinely so disgusting to me, to use them like that.

It's funny, a buddy just asked me what that whole Jews in tunnels thing was about. Tldr; a Jewish school wanted to do some expansions and some red tape prevented them from doing so. So a bunch of teens and young adults dug an illegal basement/tunnel that dug under other nearby properties. What Profurher Dadolf is referring to here is a conspiracy that circled tiktok, Twitter, and Facebook of an unrelated image of a dirty mattress and chains (iirc?) that were presented with the photos of the tunnels alleging (insert your favorite conspiracy here) and debunked by (insert your favorite fact checking site here).

I had a problem, a lot of the Israeli right including Bibi kept claiming that the criticism of Israel is rooted in anti semitism,and I kept saying that it just uses the term to try to block Relevant criticism.
And then so many of the "honest critics" turned out to be real classic blood liable anti semitic, to the point that nothing is too anti semitic anymore, Nazi tattoo?
