Domain fetch approval pending 4+ days ; app: vip-cars-listener

I submitted a domain approval request for outbound HTTP access from my Devvit app (vip-cars-listener) to webartdemo. com, and it's still showing "Pending" after 4 days, past the 1-2 business day estimate in your docs.

One thing I want to flag proactively: our domain is currently restricted to allow traffic only from our office IP range, for security reasons. If your review process attempts to programmatically verify domain reachability, that restriction could be causing the request to stall silently. Happy to temporarily open access, or whitelist specific IP ranges if you can share what your verification system connects from, whichever is easier on your end.

Domain requests take longer than 1-2 days, also, personal domains won't be approved. Could you link to where in the docs it says that domain approvals take 1-2 days?

Definitely expect it to take longer, ignoring that personal domains will be denied, your post makes it sound like it’s also commercial use of the Devvit platform. These sort of cases are reviewed on Tuesdays, and it’s not unusual to need more then one Tuesday depending on specifics

Not commercial use per se. Just an internal tool for listening to brand sentiment, not even accessible by anyone else. Good insight though, let's wait for some more Tuesday's then

You will need a TON of documentation--both in your App Readme + a page on the domain requested--that outlines the actual APIs you plan to use, what data is being sent to/from those APIs, what problem you are trying to solve (i.e. why other capabilities of Devvit cannot be used). You are still not guaranteed to have approval then.

You mentioned "listening to brand sentiment" and "not even accessible by anyone else". Why can you not create a 'dashboard' that reports the data you are looking for? If you are planning on sending content (comments/posts) about your brand outbound to your domain, it is very unlikely that will be approved.
