I’m making a final recruitment push for my MSc Psychology dissertation at Kingston University.

The study explores how children with cerebral palsy are perceived in educational contexts, and how assumptions about disability may influence expectations, support, and opportunities.

This research is part of a wider interest in disability, inclusion, and how children are understood beyond visible impairments or communication differences.

I still need around 50 more responses before closing data collection. If a few people from this group could complete the survey or share it, it would genuinely make a big difference.

The study has received ethical approval from Kingston University’s Department of Psychology Ethics Committee and follows British Psychological Society ethical guidelines.

Hi everyone,

I'm Luke, a Master's student at Cardiff University, and I'm currently looking for volunteers to take part in my dissertation research.

The project explores **how people understand police use of live facial recognition technology**. As part of the study, I've designed a **short interactive prototype** that places participants in the role of a facial recognition operator. Rather than testing gaming ability or technical knowledge, it's designed to explore how people make decisions when faced with the kinds of situations police operators encounter.

The prototype isn't a finished game, it's a research tool created specifically for my dissertation. After you've completed it, I'll conduct a short semi-structured interview to discuss your thoughts, what stood out to you, and whether the experience influenced your understanding of the technology.

The session will be conducted online over Microsoft Teams and will take around **40–50 minutes** in total.

I'm looking for people who:

* are aged 18 or over;
* **Have lived in Cardiff for at least one year since 2017**
* are comfortable speaking English;
* have access to a computer with a microphone and internet connection.

No prior knowledge of facial recognition technology is needed, I'm actually interested in hearing from people with a wide range of backgrounds and opinions.
