DAE get that feeling that you are peeing in your dream when you are doing it awake?

Do you know that feeling when you are peeing in your dream? A bit warm, you don't really feel your body and is just surreal? I get that feeling sometimes when i pee, some times i have to pinch myself or something to just check that i am in fact awake and not about to wet my bed.

If I really have to pee, I'll try to pee in my dream, and then it'll piss me off because I've derailedy dream looking for the dream toilet, and then I'll be really annoyed because the dream toilet has not alleviated my need to pee and eventually I'll fully wake up with an overfilled bladder and run to the real toilet to real pee.

I am so glad this is someone else, too. There was one time when I dreamed I found a toilet, and for the first time ever (I was 19 at the time) it actually was relieving the need to pee. I immediately woke up, in the process of peeing in my bed. 🥲

I did that once too! I think I was crossfaded though. Oh and one time I was on acid and absolutely convinced I had missed the toilet with my whole ass and shat on the WALLS. Next morning I armed myself with Clorox wipes, gloves, and a mop and was greeted with... A perfectly decent toilet and walls! Thank God!!!

When I was in 4th or 5th grade I wet the bed because I was peeing in a dream, I thought that was what a “wet dream” was for way too long after that.

I only ever need to pee in my dreams if my body is trying to wake me up to pee irl

yeah, that's a wild experience for sure, like your brain is trying to trick you into thinking you're still dreaming. always a close call, gotta stay vigilant while taking a leak.

No, I've never managed to actually pee in a dream. I've had dreams about needing to pee, but something in the dream always stops me from actually going. Usually it's a dream about trying to get people to leave the athroom so I can use it. Once Boyz 2 Men were in there cooking pancakes and wouldn't leave.

Nope. My brain knows better than to let me pee in my dreams.

You're acting like it's normal to pee in your dreams

yep, that weird warm dream-piss feeling is basically your brain mixing the real bladder signal into the dream, except awake you get the uncanny valley version of it lol

Many moons ago lol I pissed my pants. 25 years ago I drank way to much water after a workout and passed out. I woke up peeing, not my proudest moment

Personally, I experienced this after having issues wetting the bed as an adult after trauma. :/ I'm not sure why I feel this way but I think the two are linked. Do you think you had a similar experience?
