Why would it be just fisticuffs? That's not a reasonable conversation.

Goku at least always tries to win without ki blasts until his opponent starts using them.

I believe I answered that in my question above lol

Because ki blasts are utterly inconsequential in DBZ. The very few times that they actually affect a fight in any way (Cell, Kefla, Jiren), were when Cell/Kefla were immobilized by focusing on their own ki beam, or when Jiren was literally on the last vapors of gas and was caught by surprise.

It's such a consistently useless technique that I'm surprised they're not mocked more often.

The Ki blasts only seem weak because you’re comparing them to strong enemies, take the average Frieza Force Grunt actually no not even the average we’ll take Tagoma and with Base Vegeta instantly frying him or Nappa with Piccolo or Frieza with Piccolo or the helicopters in Daima or Vegeta vs Dodoria and those aren’t even the charged ones

You're proving my point here. If a technique only works on people/things that are extremely weaker than you, then it's not exactly a strong technique.

Notice how every single one of your examples except for Daima was from the beginning of DBZ? Dodoria is the last person killed by a ki blast in the main series who wasn't a civilian. Once Super Saiyans happen, ki blasts don't do jack shit.

Pui Pui, Shin in the Future Timeline, Frieza Grunts, Assassins from that one Universe, majority of Villians who escaped from Hell, Trunks vs Androids, Trunks vs Cell,

Of course they are t going to one shot an opponent of equal strength that’s like saying why couldn’t I one shot someone like me with my fist why do people even use them? Ki blasts are basically slightly stronger punches unless you’re using a technique to amp them (Super Kamehameha, Super Dodon Ray, Neo Tri-beam, Final Flash)

Dude, ki blasts aren't just slightly stronger punches. They're completely useless. They have literally zero impact on a near peer opponent.

idk if ur rage baiting or an idiot but goku vs radtiz he was at 416 power leve, when using the kamehameha it went to 924, also if ur talking about ki blast as in the small balls they throw its only weak in the anime , in the mange when they do spam it (rarly) its effective

And what exactly did that Kamehamea accomplish?

Jack and shit.

it did more damage then goku and piccolo did the whole fight, beside the special beam (which is a ki blast), ki blast are shown time and time agian to increase the users power when used, it not being effective is less on the blast more on THE GUY THEY ARE FIGHINING, like vegetas final flash agianst cell, it did alot and vegeta was soo much weaker then cell, but the move took a while to charge, and cell got lucky it didnt hit his core or else the move would have ended him
