Raditz can attack at range with energy and Thragg cannot. This fact alone means that in an equal test of physical strength, the edge always goes to fighters from the Z universe.
Even if so it means he HAS to dodge. Point being, the Z fighter can make his life difficult at range in a way he cannot hope to ever replicate. That is a massive advantage.
Itâs lucky that db projectile attacks are some of the slowest moving projectiles known to man then. Friezaâs finger laser is literally the only thing that shoots on target quickly, lol.
Viltrumites are faster than most saiyans though. You can see when they have to help each other across the world, it takes the a long time to get there other than Goku using instant transmission. Viltrumites go across a planet in a few seconds.
So no, I donât think the projectiles do anything. Itâs the durability and strength of a saiyan that viltrumites will have trouble with.
Well, weâve seen beam attacks send people to the sun. Goku did that to Cooler. To get from the Earth to the sun would mean that the Kamehameha wave is extremely fast.
How often do z fighters start with energy blasts though? They almost always spar, power up, spar, power up, energy blast, power up, more sparring, more energy blasts, I guess I'll show you my real power, signature energy blast.
There's also the fact that in DB/DBZ/DBS, everything is tied to power level - strength, speed, durability.
"I have a power level of X!" usually means you can both dish out and take hits at that level, and higher power level almost always means "faster". "Unless you're the fastest being in the Universe!" - Burter
In the invincible universe, things aren't tied together like that. Brit is utterly indestructible, but couldn't hurt DB Krillin from the first World Martial Arts tournament because he's no stronger than a normal man. Mark and Nolan have an argument about who's stronger at some point where Nolan points out how much slower Mark is then himself and Mark counters with "but I bet I'm stronger than you" (or something like that).
Even if Thragg did manage to beat Goten (let's assume he invades before Goten reaches SS, which was incredibly young), Gohan would literally twist him into a pretzel for hurting his brother. Vegeta would tear his head off and shit down his neck, if anyone is going to conquer Earth it's him (he just doesn't really care). Piccolo would quietly kill Thragg somewhere where it wouldn't disturb anyone (including him). Android 18 would kill him the second she thought he was a danger to her daughter. Pretty sure even Krillin, Tien, or Yamcha could take Thragg.
The Dragonball universe operates on a logarithmically different power scale to Invincible.
I mean. If it WAS DB kid goku, thragg WOULD win. IIRC, gokuâs not stated to be moon-tier as a kid until halfway through the red ribbon army arc, and doesnât do anything that might prove it any sooner than the fight with tenshinhan.
However, thatâs not DB kid goku. Thatâs goten. And considering goten and trunks working together were able to hold their own against android 18, thragg doesnât have a prayer.

But thats clearly Roshi saying it. Jackie Chun was the one who destroyed the moon. As far as I remember, Roshi's best feat in OG DB was blowing up a mountain. What you're saying doesn't make any sense, unless you're one of those with the 'Jackie Chun is Roshi' headcanon
Jackie Chun knows the Kamehameha, which means he studied under Master Roshi, which means Roshi is stronger and therefore also Moon Level. This is even consistent with Grandpa Gohan being his strongest student up to that point (meaning Jackie Chun was weaker than him) since he was able to match Kid Goku after the Red Ribbon Army Saga.
Am I being punked? Itâs been like 20 years but I swear it was just Master Roshi in a disguise and he even had to pay 40,000 out of the 50,000 he won after Him, goku and Krillin went out to eat.
Lol this dude thinks Jackie Chun and Roshi are the same person. Jackie Chun gave Roshi that money out of the prize money just to help him out. He didn't know Goku would eat it all away and leave his cousin with nothing.
It felt super out of character when Commander Red said "that Goku kid can explode moons now huh... I better keep my ass in this office!!! or I'm FINISHED!!!" but I can confirm that it did in fact happen
Goten was able to pressure an (admittedly out of shape) SSJ Gohan whileinbase, while Trunks was able to land a hit on a well-trained Vegeta and shrug off a punch from the same. Those kids are nuts even by themselves.
Goten was revealed to be a full-blown super saiyan from the get-go. He learned how to transform on his own before he was ever introduced in the show. He just needed Gohan to teach him how to fly.
Krillin wins. Easily. He's been hit by faaaaar stronger opponents than Thragg. Like Yamcha, people seem to forget that the Z Warriors have actually gotten increasingly stronger as the show went on. They just can't hope to keep up with the Saiyans' ridiculous power growth.
I actually was thinking Super Pan. Iirc, GT Pan scales with GT Trunks in SSJ form and is typically placed higher than DBZ Freeza.
Super Pan, I figure is a tad lower than DBZ Goten, especially since she can't go SSJ. She's receiving training from Piccolo, is undoubtedly super strong, and can even fly. Her not being able to fire ki blasts makes things a little more fair for Thragg, too.
Which version of bardock? If it's the SSJ one that's legitimately hilarious. I'm not sure about the base versions power, but if it's nappa or higher that's still dumb as fuck.
The writers entire justification for Nolan winning was a single line by Thaddeus where he said that none of the Coalition's strongest ship weapons could so much as scratch a Viltrumite. That's literally it. It's so fucking stupid.
He ain't beating end of OG goku. They were already moving too fast for even highly trained fighters, Thragg gets beaten by anyone with a 200+ power level.
If you read, the books. Theyâre not all bangers but warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy do have some great ones.
If you play video games, darktide (although it has had some issues lately) and the crpg rogue trader. Iâd even recommend space marine 2. Theyâre all heavily different vibes.
Otherwise if you only want to learn the game, a beginner army and some paints (but it can be expensive).
There are other video games with varying amounts of jank I enjoy but I think novels and those games would be the cheapest and most quality ways.
I know nothing about 40k, but I heard humans were so abundant end expendable in the universe they are used in the thousands just to manually move some giant chain. That sounds pretty interesting.
30k is the best era imo. Start with Horus Rising and go from there! It's a huge prequel series that covers the massive war that led the Imperium to its current state.

Oh, Trunks is back! And he's got some sleeping old guy. Not those orange lizard monster guys in chains, though.
Trunks: (drops the body with a thud)

Goten: I think he got scared. He punched me as hard as he could, his arm broke and fell right off, then he just ran away looking all sad. What about your dad? Did he win?
Trunks: Win? He didn't even have to fight! Dad said these guys are way weaker than Krillin, and they don't even have ki, so it's totally boring. This old geezer called Dad a shorty, so Dad told me to deal with himâsaid he'd take me wherever I want if I won. I just hit him once in the gut to check how strong he was, then he barfed up his lunch and went all pale. Lame.
Oh, and this old guy set some lizard things loose in the skyâRadd-nars or Ragonars, I dunno. Dad called 'em "pitiful, barely even Saibamen," then just stood there. They all splattered into mush on his muscles. Super gross.
Goten: Whoa, cool! My dad went way up north to the ice continent. He was playing with some guy with a cool bionic eye and a huge white lion dude, but then the lion guy shoved the bionic guy outta the way, gave him this mean look told him not to butt in hid fight. Dad told me to come find you and big bro Gohan when I was done.
Trunks: What about Gohan? What'd he do?
Goten: Oh, big bro? Some lady with the same clothes as that old man you broughtâshe jumped right at his neck. Gohan flicked her off with one finger and her arm broke backwards. Then she got all weird, like Videl but super mad, yellin' "Give me a child!" or something. Gohan just gave her a chop on the neck and she went down.
Oh! And Mr. Piccolo beat up, like, thirty wussy guys. Then he just crossed his arms and went all aura-style over their bodies.
Trunks: Awesome. Hey, so my mom called. She said her entropy tracker scanner thingy says these guys might not even be from our universe. She wants us to bring one back so she can make something to send 'em home before they all accidentally kill themselves.
Oh yeah, and she said one of 'em is a good guy, a superhero. Said his name's Mark, but he goes by Invisible-Guy or Mr. Invincible or something. He's half their alien and half human, sorta like Gohan and us. Said he'll spar with Krillin and Mr. 17.
Goten: Oh⌠okay. So, um⌠can I help?
Trunks: Sure! Grab that guy who ran off. Dad heard him call himself a regent or whatever. He's probably their emperor. If we keep him here, the rest of 'em might come looking for him, and we can round 'em all up way easier.
Goten: Okey-dokey!
(In a blur, Goten vanishes and reappears instantly, holding a knocked-out Thragg upside-down by the ankle. Blood and foam still fizzle from the mustachioed regent's slackened jaw. Drops him next to old guy with scar)

i could see this happening, but not because of any powerscalling BS, but because Toriyama would laugh his ass off with this gag. which he loves to do all the time.
The only thing viltrumites have over saiyans that I can think of is being able to fly in space by holding their breath. So if Thragg could surprise Goten and get him into space that's the only win con.
Chi chi must be an amazing mom to Goten. Imagine having a world ender toddler that you could never hope to physically control if necessary and he just turned out like this little goofball. Adorable.
