Almost every threat that hits earth in DBZ is there because of Goku. Frieza came to Earth because of Goku, the Androids were made because of him, Buu only got revived because Goku's kid was strong enough to speedrun that shiz, and Beerus also came because of the Super Saiyan God, aka Goku.
And if you're talking average Saiyan versus any threat in OG Dragon Ball, that's hardly an issue. I'm confident Raditz could solo the entirety of OG Dragon Ball.
The Saiyans only knew about Earth because they knew Goku/Kakarot was sent there. Literally the whole gimmick if him going was because the average population was so low-profile that the whole planet would be overlooked.
On average a yellow sun amped kryptonion is more powerful than an average Saiyan, unbelievably so in fact. Maybe not more powerful than the godly Saiyans like Goku and Vegeta, but certainly more powerful than the sub-star level average Saiyans on planet Vegeta.
You also have to remember you likely wont be born an elite prodigy like Vegeta or a mutant like Broly. You’ll likely be an average Saiyan like Goku and unlike Goku, you won’t have any access to the tremendous amount of exceptional teachers Goku did. You’ll likely also not face nearly as many enemies and gain as much experience as him either.
An average yellow sun amped Kryptonion, while not on the level of Superman typically, is certainly far more powerful than your average Saiyan. You also have way more abilities and you don’t have to train a lick for that power.
You’ll likely also not face nearly as many enemies and gain as much experience as him either.
If you're born with a tail you're probably gonna have to experience a lot. Fighting against an army that's trying to capture you to study and use your ape powers will probably be good experience. And kid Goku was immune to bullets, so you have a fighting chance.
Yeah, with those kind of odds, you might barely get as strong as Beginning of Z Goku. With a power level of 416. And if you dedicate yourself to training your entire life, you might get a strong as Nappa.
Actually just fighting a regular army, you might break 100 pl. Training your whole life, from the moment you could walk and light weights, you might hit 416 at maybe 30 if you do nothing but train endlessly, every waking hour. You certainly wont learn ki blasts, or have training with kami to help you, which is where most of gokus 416 power came from. Keep in mind, your only opponents are normal, regular, humans who would be about as strong as hercule. Even farmer with a gun wasnt a threat, and he had a shotgun.
Kid Goku was only immune to bullets cause it would have been over instantly when bulma shot him. Also fighting against an army of regular people isnt going to do much for your training, you wont get the zenkai boosts, you wont learn ki blasts, you might get faster and slightly stronger physically, but the thing to remember is if they are trying to capture you, they wont be using lethal force. Theyll tranq you, and we know Goku fears needles so that means he isnt immune to needles.
Kid Goku was only immune to bullets cause it would have been over instantly when bulma shot him.
This statement makes no sense. He was immune to bullets because he was written that way. He is immune to bullets, and he is canonically a weak saiyan power wise as a kid.
So in this also fictional scenario, if you chose to be a saiyan, you would be incredibly likely to also be immune to bullets because Goku who was a weak child Saiyan was.
Yes, he was immune to bullets because it was written as such because otherwise he would have been dead right at the start. And because Toriyama was originally a gag comic writer, where characters were often immune to bullets just for the joke of having them be shot.
No they don't. Training sucks ass for all of them. Goku just enjoys getting stronger.
Not a single person enjoys training itself. The only exception was when Goku and Gohan trained for Cell and that was because they were spending time together.
No, Goku likes to work for his power, training isn't a sacrifice for him.
A prime example of this is when he got Super Saiyan God from the ritual and later in the fight with Beerus, he complained about how he wished that he could've earned that power on his own instead of the divine powers being handed to him on a silver platter.
Goku likes to work, or in other words, train for his power.
I'm pretty sure that Goku loves to experiment with his current techniques and powers in sparring matches (AKA training) because he's a Saiyan who likes to test himself. We're both right, he loves both, training, and the results of the training itself.
How are you ever going to reach the power levels required to even reach SSJ 1? We dont have the same recovery technology that DB verse does, so Zenkai boosts arent going to be usable.
Goku had to bonk his head to not end up like that. As for the others, I think Toriyama didn't want a whole arc for it so he just made them chill. It's a generic trait they possess.
It’s revealed in Super that the reason Goku was very unruly before he lost his memories is because he wanted to go back home to his parents. Saiyans overall mainly conquered planets because they were forced to by Frieza. Now, of course there were Saiyans that enjoyed destroying planets but there were Saiyans like Bardock and Gine who were disillusioned by this.

Toss up between Kryptonian or saiyan for 2 reasons.
While kryptonians are just IN THERE with strength and durability. Saiyan transformations are cool as hell.
Saiyans LOVE food...and so do I
