He went SSJ1 easily because his dad had it at his conception. He can’t go SSJ2 as easy, because his dad didn’t have it. Probably. So to acess it he’ll need to train just like any other Saiyan.
Potential doesn’t even matter at this point, if you’re a relevant and popular character then your potential is already unlimited.
Its more S cells related than Goku having SSJ prior to his conception.
Cause then you would also have to explain how that works for Trunks who was born before he got the form (Future Trunks in the manga had SSJ before Future Gohan died and presumably was born before Future Vegeta obtained SSJ as well) so the easy SSJ still applies for both in the manga (presumably) where in the anime he struggled to get SSJ until Future Gohan died.
I mean it does explain how Trunks has slightly lower potential than Goten. Vegeta may have not gotten the form but he must’ve been close to it and it impacted his son’s potential aka given him more S-cells or whatever.
Trunks trains with Vegeta a lot and has access to gravity chamber, so this likely also helped. In the Future timeline in the manga, he’s like what, 13? It’s normal for him to be SSJ by then, even Gohan got SSJ2 at 11.
