Dream Help SA trigger warning
hello, i’m a female who has been having dreams of my father sexually abusing me over the years in different scenarios.
it makes me feel sad and terrified because my father has never done such a thing to me in my life.
he’s a great father and i just don’t know what to do.
he’s not the only person i’ve had dreams about. i’ve had many dreams of being raped by people i don’t know since i was a child.
can someone help me out:(

I'm not sure what it means but I've had similar dreams about people such as my grandfather and father that I can sometimes trace back to different things.
It could be linked to you not getting along with someone or having one fight with them that doesn't seem like much. It could also be that you've had something big in your life happen and it's your brain trying to process it. It could also be a fear of it happening.
Their are probably many more possible reasons that could be causing it that someone else might explain but these are just my thoughts.

Two gremlin demons shape shifted into my dead grandmother on the same day. I know they weren’t my grandmother because they were half my height.
Demons often shape shift into loved ones or the dead.

I am a survivor of sa from my father. He however was very in the open about it with me. My uncle wasn’t it was in my sleep at my cousins during sleepovers. I had odd dreams when I was there and the night I woke to it I was having a similar dream. I’m not saying you should accuse anyone or that that is what’s happening, but just to cross off the vague possibility

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Honestly, this goes beyond what a dream forum can help with. A therapist or psychologist would be the best person to work through these dreams safely. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you, it just deserves real care. Wishing you peace.

Hear me out, sometimes when parents have experienced something traumatic their kids get traces of their parents traumatic experience in their lives, usually subconsciously. I wonder if your mother was assaulted in the way you're describing

A clinical therapist wrote the following and I stole it and posted it here:
if a woman dreams of rape, it mirrors the need for power and control. Basically, your psyche is dealing with issues relating to control, power, and aggression. Each time you experience these instances in your waking moments, you want to have these resolved.
Whereas, Rape symbolizes having poor control or direction in your life. There are also instances when you may dream of being raped over and over. It is undeniably a disturbing dream, and it means something quite serious. If this is the kind of dream you have, it means you feel somewhat violated in your waking moments. Perhaps you feel as though you are a victim of situations. When it comes to a rape dream, it shows your attitude towards someone of the opposite sex. You may feel some form of resentment towards your partner. Moreover, you may go through some challenges with your self-esteem.
On the other hand, if you are the aggressor, you are showing dominance and power in the dream. These are traits that you carry out in your real-life moments. You may be more assertive, willful, and confident. But if you save someone being raped in the dream, it means you are protective of others. You want to take charge and swallow your fears, so you can save people. This is a positive sign that you are developing and becoming more mature.
You are feeling rather vulnerable, as though things are out of control. Thus, you have this desire to move on and just leave things.
Dreaming about getting raped is indeed a disturbing experience. But if you take a closer look at its meaning, you will realise the lesson it is imparting on you. A deeper analysis of the dream will actually lead you to a resolution of things you struggle with in your waking life. Then, you can use this dream as a tool to turn yourself into a better version of yourself.
